$330 SRP ---> $1500 floor price set by big 3?

$330 made me laugh out loud.

I've already sold my first born for hobby and stocked up on military grade-weapons for retail runs. It's about to get dangerous out there for this one.

Don't worry. BO will make sure to put hobby at a price that it can only go down. It's what they have done on every hobby product released this year. Not a single one selling above BO presale price for all of basketball and football. Even with as hot as Caitlin has been, WNBA Select hobby is under their bs presale price.

The funny thing is most people probably slept on FOTL Prizm Draft Picks today which sold out at $224.95 (probably went earlier for most). I know there is a huge diff between draft and reg. Prizm but with women added this year I'll take a couple boxes of this, FOTL at that and with guys included over WNBA Prizm. Clark's stuff is still insane for any level so I'd rather take a risk on more boxes and opportunities when any Clark is still leaving you very happy over the risk of Prizm when knowing them it'll be one good Clark card every eight boxes.

The only people sleeping on Prizm Draft Picks today was Panini themselves.

I tried buying a box today, but was unable to do so before the bots bought them out.

What this shows is Panini's own (pricing) incompetence.

Prizm Draft was fixed price $224.95 not an auction, was very hard to get through on, and sold out in 4 minutes which was nearly how long it took me to get 1 case due to spinning wheel on every step. Seemed like old times :D

CC prizm black true black over/under a $1,000,000 card if auctioned? I'd lean over based on some of her recent sales.

Lol "OuT-oF-sToCk"? BO will be getting a few hundred cases of this product. There hasn't been a single hobby product this entire decade they have actually sold out at presale with the way they price even under the table let alone listed price on their site. I don't think there is 1 single hobby product released over the last year BO even sold 5% of their inventory during presale at the listed price.

I've watched, hoping to get some boxes/cases. All the big guys have sold out at the $1,000 per box price point. Instant sellouts too. So someone is buying them. It may be insanity from a buying standpoint, but if people are willing to buy, the people selling are smart, not insane.

Select Hobby is $900 right now so expect sticker shock on Prizm.

I think the demand on this stuff is going to be crazy.
CC cards are in more demand than Wemby, and there's fewer options (no Mosaic, no Hoops, no Phoenix, no unlicensed Topps products, etc) for her/WNBA.

I think we'll see some good ole fashioned fightin' in the WalMart aisles on this one!

Would be curious to know how much Panini printed of 2024 WNBA Prizm with CC vs. '24-25 NBA Prizm with the weak rookie class.

Huh? Select is around $675. Even with as hot as Caitlin has been, Origins and Select are below bum presale pricing. Select FOTL, with way lower numbered FOTL cards and way lower print run, is selling below $2k.

I guess we will see if it hurts them but they should have done the same FOTL parallels as basketball. Would have been way more boxes and way more value. These FOTL cards essentially cost them nothing. Instead they will most likely sell for less money per box and less boxes. How they screwed up the cash cow that shoulda been Select WNBA FOTL and Prizm WNBA FOTL is Panini 101.

If you're buying anything well over MSRP presale/initial sale from those people at those prices you're stupid. It's going to be available cheaper somewhere else every single time.

And Select FOTL sold out below $1500 with only like 300 some total boxes. The checklist isn't up but you figure Prizm is minimum 3450 boxes and possibly way more than that.

It also sold out at only $1312. Based on at least the Caitlin cards I had and sold and followed she was selling higher then too. If they auctioned Prizm FOTL right after they did Select FOTL it without a doubt would have sold out for less than that. But I guess we will see what happens today.

No it had to of been higher. I looked at 12:48 and it was gone. There was a max of 9 drops at $83.33 per. Every box at least around $2250 plus tax. Vast majority looking at minimum close to $2400 a box. That's assuming you only bought at the floor. 1 drop higher is another $83.33 per. I had one of the highest recorded sales of Prizm Football FOTL I know of and even as cases I cleared under $2400 a box.

Depending on how you look at it the price continues to drop and it doesn't say sold out the price just keeps dropping. I'm 100% certain I looked at 12:48 because I looked right at the timer on my computer when it said sold out. There was a max of 9 drops at $83.33 per.

Lol I don't think these people pay around $2400 to sell for $2500. It's breakers and Im sure the remaining 50% of stock they didn't auction is sold either at the sell out price or much more likely 20-25% below it to their good friends.

I didn’t buy any but less than 100 cases, makes sense to me. Breakers will be able to dial up the random team breaks in low $200s and people will eat it up if Select was any indicator.

I will try retail since it will be reasonable priced compared to hobby. Retail prizm usually sucks compared to retail select for hits but i guess will see if wnba has anything in retail prizm. I did great on select retail wnba vs the cost of hobby. Lot more work but return was much better and could grade a ton of stuff that gems pretty easy with select.

For a comparison, my season tickets for 2 people for the upcoming Liberty season was $2400. So…full season of ball or one box of FOTL lol

I will definitely be buying singles of this, and Prizm will definitely be King for a while. But long-term I think select blows it away because of the print run difference.

For Select, I agree for base concourse cards, but lots of the base/unnumbered parallels are surprisingly short printed for this day and age.
