Expect them to be more than $50 a box like previous years since you get 1 auto per box and 72 cards per box. Previous years were 30 cards and no guaranteed auto.

I’m guessing these will be $130 or $140 this year.

If we're lucky, $120 or below.

Probably going to see something like $149.99 though :(

Even at 149.95 (which will be WAY too much) they are going to sell out quickly.

Lack of checklist makes me worried autos will be weak. 2023 wasn't a great list.

Autos are serial numbered and you get one per box. Add up the names on the checklist x 264

Only the first round of 5 would go through for me. Second round would go to the cart but at checkout it wouldn't actually process.

Although price-point is higher than desired and autos are sticker, the checklist (auto included) are strong enough for me.

Also don't hurt that past year's products set a nice floor and this year's rookie class is just as strong (if not, stronger).

In for 10 for now.

Not all the names will have all the parallels.

Example, they did not put Ohtani Autos in every single auto parallel.

Not crazy about the price, but I'm in for a box. These are always beautiful cards.

Snagged 16. I think this will do quite well.

I'm making a very solid assumption based on a number of factors. This has a much lower PR than 14k.

Look at all other similarly priced Online Exclusives. Ohtani is hardly ever in any auto set numbered over 25. I don't think they'd use 264 A list stickers for this release.

I believe last years PR was around 4k, going to 14k would mark a significant jump for this product line.

This did not last long even though it was an Online Only release, no cases, and a max limit of 5. I think the PR is likely around 5k-7k.

Got some boxes. Interesting to see where these go.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the guys are short printed. However to take it from 14k to 4k you're cutting 10,000 autos out of the 54 remaining names on the CL.

This year the boxes are basically 3 of last years in 1 but still

Trust me, I'd love an equal chance of pulling an Ohtani Auto vs. a Nick Loftin. I just dont think there's any chance of that.

All they did was merge the product. It used to be 3 packs. 1:3 for autos. Now it’s 9 packs with a guaranteed auto. My guess is that if last print run was about 11k, the print run this time is about 4K.

That’s not the way I see it. As someone above said, each 2024 box is 3 2023 boxes given the configuration change. So, it felt OK to me.

Haha yeah, sold out quicker than expected. Someone quoted 14k boxes so I thought I had some time to decide on the extra 5. Happy to have secured some though!

2024: $165, 1 auto, 18 "hits" (9 packs x 2 hits per pack)
2023: $150, 1 auto, 9 "hits" (3 boxes x 3 packs per box x 1 hit per pack)

I wish I had bought more than 2 but dang there is a LOT of stuff on Presell this week!

I was going to pass but the autograph checklist was really really nice so got in for 2 boxes. This is Topps so of course the big name autos will be much more short printed than the spare rookie autos. Even with that there are some really good odds at pulling a nice name.

They are counting the inserts as "hits".

I would assume the same as last year, 1 insert and 1 #'d card/auto/SP per pack. Then 6 base cards instead of 8. So then in a comparison to last year it's ultimately $15 more and you get 18 fewer base cards. And I would think that's a best case scenario given how things have unfolded this year.

It's also $15 more for a guaranteed auto (last year's product averaged an auto in every 3 boxes but that doesn't mean that purchasing 3 boxes guaranteed you an auto), which holds a lot of value in itself.

Well I just checked my USPS informed delivery and I have something coming from Fanatics Frazyburg. Weird that they would send this via USPS. It is a parcel package so not first class.

I got my FedEx tracking number for my 2 boxes last night. They’ll ship today

I'd be surprised if they shipped this USPS. Maybe something else? I can't remember the last time I had anything shipped out of Frazyburg, either.

Looks like I have something coming from the UPS Surepost, Mail Innovations or whatever it is called. Handed off to USPS. Not going to like this and may come after Christmas. Just surprised I have not had the shipped email from Topps. So it could be something else besides the BW boxes. But the only other thing I have coming is the Ohtani 50/50 boxes.
