I always try to get something personal to open for the holidays. Was leaning towards a box of each of Ginter/ Update, but may consider this instead. Looks fun.

Not speaking about this particular product but has one ever cancelled an order with blowout? And if so, how would you go about doing it?

So 10 blasters of WNBA, UFC, Unlicensed baseball, Draft basketball etc. The sell sheet looks like all the clearance blasters at my local walmart for $12 each. These get worse and worse every single year. Wonder if they still have any Yo Gabba Gabba laying around or if they are waiting for black friday for that.

If it's like the one from National, the box without a "hit" will be 20 blasters.

This actually looks better than the National one, like unlicensed or not the Chrome blasters will be better value than 99% of blasters listed for the National one.

What am I not understanding? It is not clear what is being received.

You receive 10-20 blasters from the left side of photos on the PDF posted and every 1/3 boxes could have a "surprise" item from the right side of photos in the PDF with the top surprise hits listed at the top.

I really liked the Nationals ones so they got me again on these, hoping to get a nice prize winner but if not, cool, 20 blasters to enjoy.

I ordered three and received one heavy one, one medium and one light box. Crossing my fingers the light one might man a redemption, but we'll see. I'm doing my best to wait until Christmas to open with my son.

You are a braver man then me. Hope you beat the odds and get some good stuff. Full disclosure I ordered 1 for my son for Christmas that is suppose to be here today. Supposedly weighs 8.2 lbs if that tells anything. I'm giving 50-1 odds to anyone that mine doesn't have any vouchers or any of the randomly inserted goodies. That's just how my luck rolls when it comes to stuff like that.

Received mine. The light one will have a bonus type item and 10-12 blasters. The heavy one will be all basic blasters. Heavy on UFC stuff this go around, also you will see some Nascar and WWE.

"Bonus" items for me included a 2023 topps update hobby box, a 2023 Update Jumbo box. I did hit 2 cases out of 36 mega Mixes. One was a 2019 Panini Optic baseball blaster box ($300) and the other was a 22/23 prizm basketball blaster case (600).

So only 4 bonus items in 36 mega mixes? In your opinion, are these worth it? Looks like it's still up and was thinking about getting a few.

Oh no there were other bonuses. They fell as they should have 1 in 3. There was a Playbook football box, a 22/23 Hoops Hobby Box. A 17/18 Donruss BK hobby box. Some I'm forgetting that were on the site for mid 100s

They came 4 to a parcel and weighed 31 pounds.

I've opened 3 boxes from 2 different orders. One heavy, one a little less, and one light (~ 5.5 lbs).

They all weighed 8.2 lbs from the shipper.

The heaviest one had 20 blasters + a Mets Once Upon A Time in Queens and a Topps X Trevor Lawrence box (maybe $120-140 in value combined?). As well as a 23-24 Topps Chrome BBall blaster.

The lightest one had like 12 blasters + a 20-21 Obsidian Tmall basketball box (less than 100 bucks value?)

Neither of them had anything wrapped in black bag signifying you got a bonus like years past, so who knows. Maybe I got 1 bonus, or 2. Or none.

Anyways, tons of wresting & panini baseball.

Wasn't impressed.

17 blasters total.

1 MLS, 3 MLB Panini, 3 MLB Topps, 3 NASCAR, 3 WWE, 3 UFC, 1 Queens NY

2022 Topps UK was another "Bonus " non blaster. That was a stinker as a Bonus I felt.

Another bonus was Tristar NY Dynasty hidden treasures box

Chronicles baseball blasters and prizm baseball blasters. WNBA prizm from 2022 are a few to expect. I had some Mixes with 4 UFC panini blasters(Donruss, Optic and Prizm).

I opened 3, all in one order. Packaged weighed 25.9 lbs.

First one had 20 blasters and a Mets Once Upon A Time in Queens pack/box. This one also had a 2023 bowman baseball blaster.

Second had 20 blasters and a Topps X Trevor Lawrence box. This one also had a 23/24 topps chrome basketball blaster in it.

Third one had 12 or 13 blasters (nothing great), and a Wild Card Alumination CJ Stroud Rookie COMIX Hobby Box.

As mentioned above, several UFC blasters, prizm and topps wwe, 2023 topps series 2 baseball (had a Witt SP in it shockingly), a couple of 2023 ginter blasters, prizm racing, optic baseball, bowman platinum baseball, 2021 goodwin, 2023-23 hoops basketball, a couple 2022-23 select basketball blasters, 2023 heritage baseball, and lots of baseball and basketball chronicles. Mostly lower end stuff. The only football blaster I got was 2023 score.

I got 3 as well, didn't think to weigh them. My bonus was a 2021-22 Select H2 box that seems to go for around $100. Given that it replaced 9 blasters in my box, that might have been my worst one.

I got a couple of Topps Basketball blasters, a couple of 2023 Bowman, and did get one of the Mets packs that goes for way more than I expected.

Nothing major, but didn't get hurt either. I even have an audience for the WWE and Nascar blasters, so nothing will go to waste!

I should also mention that a buddy of mine ordered 2, one had a 2022 stadium club baseball hobby box. Blasters were the same as I mentioned above. The non hit box had a Once upon a time in queens pack/box.

This release still was more fun than opening a $600 Bowman Draft box

Thank for the info all, I'm excited for our three, hopefully one of the two "lighter" boxes is something cool. And the Queens boxes are right up my ally for any boxes that don't have bonuses as the 86 Mets were in the heart of my Mets cheering childhood.

My son and I will have a great time opening whatever is inside!

I got 1 and it had 10 blasters..Also got a Leaf Mystery Jersey box and a Black Envelope with a redemption for a case of 2022 High number Heritage.

Just got mine. No bonus like I knew. Baseball Blasters Ok. The Rest pretty bad I think unless Im missing something.

I got mine and have to say the blaster selection was much worse than the Nationals version, tons of WWE, soccer & UFC...Maybe great for some people but I would have much rather had baseball/football/basketball. The Nationals version had better blasters and was cheaper. I did get a 2022 Mosaic Baseball Choice? box and hit a Bobby Witt Jr RC auto so can't complain too much I guess.

I didn't buy the National version, but I had hoped this one would mirror it a bit. Seems to have fallen short in that regard.

I got one; haven't purchased in a few years.
The crap blasters were WWF Topps, UFC Optic, Donruss UFC x2.
I did get some cool bonuses:

Opened the packs tonight with my kid with low expectations and got an auto and a handful or numbered cards; he was happy and it was fun.

Did people not check the sell-sheet? It was pretty clear there was going to be a good amount of WWE/UFC. The normal blowout Mega Mix didn't even show WWE in the sell-sheet.

As a UFC/WWE fan I would of been more likely to buy the Holiday Mix ASSUMING it had a nice amount of each.

No doubt. And looking at these lists, while the product mix will include stuff people don’t collect since that will happen with variety like this, these do all look to have more value than the cost of the mix.

Clearly I read the post wrong on what he got in another thread here. So 2 blasters, big difference in value for certain.

Overall I think value wise it's a fair release to buyers. Nothing insane in most but if you add up the sum it typically goes over the $240. I look at recent Tops releases such as Gilded and Draft and I'd buy more MegaMix before touching those products.

Yeah, I was mostly joking anyway. I know how much this place loves to complain about breakers. But somehow Houdini, and the others that run breaks here, seem to get a pass. Even though Houdini also breaks with Fanatics.

I agree with you on the value of these. They did not hide what it is. The people complaining about what they got are just admitting they didn't read what they were buying.

Those 3 were brutal, especially with no type of bonus in there.

Bought two. 1 i got a 22 TCU hobby value $80. Top hit. The second was all crap blasters. Worst part is i probably got 15 WWE, soccer or UFC blasters in the two boxes. Will never buy again

Anyone have an opinion on if the Queens and Trevor Lawrence boxes are worth ripping or better to sell sealed. Seems like they are selling OK on Ebay and the boy wont care much about ripping those 2 anyways.

They have to. Its the only way to buy this stuff, buy most sealed wax, or buy into breaks. I bought one because the boy asked for 1 for X-mas not because I was expecting much value in them.

Oh, they remember. They just can’t help themselves. Buying a box of random boxes that nobody wants mostly comprised of sports you probably don’t collect is one of the most degenerate moves in the hobby. There’s not even a fun factor to it!

I'm not sure why an apologist would be needed. If someone spent $240 and didn't read the sell sheet, that's on them.

If someone did read the sell sheet and is upset getting what was advertised, that's also on them.

This isn't a product for many people, and that's fine. For what it's worth, typically it isn't a product for me either. I have some kids in our family and kids of friends who are into WWE and UFC, and a buddy who is into Nascar. I decided to take a chance on hitting a big bonus.

Everything I got found a home, and I feel like I came out a little ahead while getting nothing much as a bonus. If that makes me a dumbass for buying, then call me whatever you want.

I find the description for the product to be rather vague...unless there is a pdf I can't find

When I said even the worst boxes can be flipped for a profit, I meant even the worst mega mix boxes, not a specific blaster. I’m talking about in total.

Calling this product a rip off is absurd. It was as advertised in terms of content and if you add all the contents up, you can EASILY break even at worst and potentially come out well ahead. There are plenty of duds for sure, but there are buyers for the ones you may not want.

It is a fun idea and there are way worse things to buy...so if y'all are happy then no need discussing it

bought a second one ...got another 8 pounder....once I open, I'll try and list in lots of blasters on the bay...even if I don't break even, I took a chance for a bonus and not going to be a horrible return like some other products

I mean if you do shows or need Filler stock for a showcase (Slow moving) it would suffice. Lot of people would still pay $20+ for half of the Blasters, and $10-$15 for the others, just because of MSRP costs for new product.


for my own ripping, I would just open some of the baseball but nothing else. But for $240 not bad. I would probably be happier though opening 2 ETB sparks pokemon boxes and 151 Japanese box for the same cost, but it would be a quicker rip.
