Wait time on COMC orders?
 

Been a while since I bought off there, was just wondering what's been the wait time lately to receive bought items? Thanks.

44 cards requested 7/21, shipped on 8/1. Originally was told the end of August I believe.

My last was ~60 cards, economy shipping, requested on 8/3 and originally estimated to arrive 9/6, but I had them in hand on 8/19. Nice to get a pleasant surprise

Put in a shipment request on 8/21 opted for the $9.99 shipping with 8/31 delivery and got an email this morning they had shipped so appears they are right on time if not a bit ahead. That said the cheapest shipping option of $4.99 had an estimated delivery of 9/24. IMO if you don't want to wait a month plus the extra $5 is worth it.

Requested on 8/10 and shipped 8/21, super fast compared to anything in the last 4 years or so. Either they are getting their act together or business is slowing down. I imagine it’s a bit of both, but completely a guess on my part. Happy with the quick turn around though.

About 600 cards so not a small order.

Too bad there isn't a month wait right now.

I paid the middle rate. I think it was $38 for 68 cards. Seems a little high, but at least they shipped priority (should've been Express as much as they charged me). Took about 2 weeks from the time I placed the order to when I received them.

Just did rushed shipment request last week and got them this week ahead of schedule.

There is very little reason right now to pay extra on shipping. If it starts getting backed up again that is a different story, but having my cards in 10 days versus 6 is not worth $20-40 depending on the size of the shipment.

Do you get a tracking number on the cheaper 3.99/4.99 shipping prices?

Yes, there is tracking provided USPS.

I had one standard order ship within a week of request earlier this month. Unfortunately, they overstuffed the box and many got damaged in shipment. Most were less than a buck and not worth escalating. I will no longer order ~80 cards. It will either be 60 or 100+ so the dolts don't do that again.

I put in a request last week for 60 cards and it has a 9/17 estimate but it's looking likely it will ship late next week if the counter is any guide.

If you load up there Black Friday week, get your shipment request in before end of that week else you'll be waiting a while longer.

I've had 2 of the cheapest 4.99 Econo shipments in the last 2 months of 400+ and 100+ cards - One got to me in 12 days - the other 18 days.

I am sorry if this is one of those "third rail" discussions, so please excuse my ignorance here in resurrecting an old thread.

Just wondering what I should be expecting in terms of wait times for an order. I placed one on November 14th. Sixteen cards, most of them commons (all of them found in base sets). It hasn't yet shipped (today is 12/7) and now it's telling me that my estimated date is 12/30... and there are 261,000 items in front of mine.

Is this standard? What should I expect?

Comc gets slammed every year around this time and takes months to ship.

Just requested a shipment and it said there are 395,000 cards ahead of my order. So, it's gonna be a while.

It's been almost 8 weeks each for both of my last two orders. Settle in.

My last order from them was Nov 23rd and delivered December 1.

I'd note that how long it takes to ship your order is to some extent a function of how complex your order is......the simpler it is, the faster is will ship.

I requested a shipment of 44 cards on 11.26 and there were 590,000 items ahead of mine…down to 491,000 as of today.

I submitted a shipment request for over 500 cards on 11/27 and there were close to 600,000 cards ahead of mine. It is down to 529,000 now.

Even the rushed shipments you pay an arm and a leg for are behind schedule.

Mine was 395,000 a few days ago. Just looked today and now it's 659k lol. They are falling very, very behind.

Last time they gave me $5 off my next shipping order for being a month late. This is crazy.

I requested a shipment on 11/6 and it’s been bumped to a later date four times. I honestly expected it to be a little late, it’s that time of year, but I wish they would be upfront about a realistic date I can expect it.

requested some cards to be shipped on 11/24, some for a Christmas gift. Original ship date was December 8th, pushed back now to January 13th

Mine just got pushed back 38 days.

Had a card transferred to me via Upper Deck e-pack and it took over a month for the physical card to get to me cause it had to go through COMC first...

Prolly the last time I grab anything from UD e-pack, but it was a 1/1...

This probably won't help much since it's currently the holidays, but I requested a 153 card shipment bulk shipping ($27.24) on 10/07/25 and it arrived 11/10/25.

So, uh, two questions:
- There's absolutely no chance I can add anything to my order (that I placed a month ago), right?
- The shipping seems to be $5 plus $0.25 a card. Are there ever any discounts to that?

One of those things where I wonder if I should be adding to an order or just wait until I have like 20 cards at a time and go from there.

I'm not really in a rush, it's all just for my own personal collection - and not going to lie, these are base cards of Don Mattingly and Dale Murphy, whom I thought were going to be elected to the HOF, so I'm *really* not in a rush right now :)

More importantly, right now we are directly after their biggest sales week of the entire year.

I’m just not going to even request my next shipment till early January. I figure I will enjoy it a bit more during Spring Training anyway.

I didn't realize how much the ship days have slipped, and shipping costs increased. 10/23/24 - 68 cards shipped by 11/1 for $5.99 Economy.

100 cards ordered on 9/28/25 shipped 10/23/25 for $19.99 Bulk.

As far as I know, once you lock in a shipment, no cards can be added / subtracted from it. It's probably too big a head ache for them to try and do this with the volume they are backed up by.

Took nearly a month for mine. Ordered 10/28, got them 12/5. 32 cards. Feel like their eBay is fast then the actual site.

On everyone's order that is behind: have they sent you the $5 shipping voucher that comes when they do not hit the date initially quoted to you? I usually get it that next day after they miss the deadline, but I have not received one for my order and it is a week overdue. I know it will be January when it ships, but I would like the voucher.

Depends on the method you're choosing. Bulk is $20 flat up to 500 cards, assuming you bought in Simplified mode and not Advanced Reseller. That takes supposedly 6 weeks, but plan on 12 weeks. (best for when you have tons of cards to ship home and don't care at all on time)

Standard is $5.99 plus 25 cents per card that you bought in Simplified mode. Make that 50 cents a card if you bought in Advanced Reseller Mode. That takes supposedly 3 weeks, but plan on 6 weeks. (best for when you have considerably less to ship home and want it a little faster)

They used to have a Black Friday shipping discount, but they're so backed up that won't happen again anytime soon. Your only discount is $5 off your next shipment when they miss the due date and you complain, lol.

I placed an order on 11/10 and just received it today (12/10).

My order from the middle of November shipped, so I have that going for me. LIke I said earlier, not in a rush.

SO I am planning a mega order soon. I don't really expect / care about a fast turnaround time.

My q comes with making an offer. I have a number of different people I would be buying from. I know there is a page where I can make offers to everyone in my shopping cart and such. Ultimately though I don't want to have a hundred different shipments coming in - just one.

What happens if I make an offer, and someone accepts - but others don't even get back to me (or others reject me). Do I have a set amount of time before I "buy" my entire cart? Does the accepted offer come as a separate shipment (thus charging me the $5.99 twice) etc.

You still get to assemble your shipment(s) when an Offer Accepted card enters your inventory. The first default setting there for a purchased card is “Ready to Ship”.

Make sure you update the status of any cards you buy off eBay into your ComC account. I had one card I won and I forgot to update it's shipping status - it didn't ship and ended up being the only card I had left in my inventory.

Sent an email asking them what their plan as a business was, to reduce these absurd delays. They chose not to respond. I guess they have the secretary out packing cards.

They are contractually bound by ebay to meet a certain uploaded tracking deadline.

Never knew they told you how many orders are ahead of yours. That's pretty cool. Not sure how you guys ended up so low in the queue, I just ordered a shipment today.

Yeah, they have done the same to me and its terrible... you will prbly get a five dollar coupon only good for shipping which you will not want to use

(I honestly don't mind; I ordered like 180 cards, most of them base / commons. Of course I'd love to have them in hand, and sure I'd love to get them sooner, but I probably saved* a bunch of bucks by going through them)

Now 524,844 ahead of me. Unless they have a plan, they should just push the date out 6 months.


Also, I thought it funny that they sent out an email highlighting the benefits of "buying now and shipping later" lol. A very diplomatic way of saying "we're not shipping you anything any time soon, so don't even think about it".

This feels like PSA circa 2021. Setting unrealistic expectations that they know they can't hit. My order referenced above is only 6 cards. 1/27 for yours is impossible if my 12/5 order is now pushed to 2/21.

Don't believe the cards ahead of you and the estimated shipping date. If you shipped bulk, than it is probably the case. However, people are getting orders picked and shipped well ahead of items ahead of them. It is a mess right now, that we can all agree on. :doh:

My bulk order was target date of Jan 26th and I got them on 12/20.

Anyone try and order with Fanatics Collect lately(old pwcc)? They are terribly backlogged as well. I'm at 4 weeks and waiting for items purchased in their weekly auction.

Fanatics Collect is the Old PWCC? I haven't been on here in a while, but with all the Shenanigans and BS PWCC pulled I was hoping they would have just disappeared. One of the worst scammers in the last 30 years. These guys should have gone to jail

My order of ~500 cards just got pushed back a month with almost 400,000 cards ahead of my order.

My 11/26 shipping request still has 355k ahead of it. It was around 580k when I put in the request. That's about 200k per month. If nothing changes, an order placed today might ship mid to late April.

This is surprising to me considering prices are higher than ever on the site and good deals are farther and fewer between. I used to easily grab 5-10 cards a day for shipping on COMC but have only purchased 12 total for that purpose in the month since the Black Friday event.

They have time to run their ebay live auctions multiple times every day, but no time to be responsive with customer service or pick cards for shipments. Needless to say, I hope the public loses traction and places them in cancel culture. They won't be getting any more of my business.

How quick are they shipping out from their ebay store?

My guess is, that's why shipping direct from site is so far behind. Shipping from eBay purchases are pretty on time.

I've had orders shipped while it still shows 100k+ cards in front of me. I don't think they update that number much at all.

I went on their COMC Ebay Live... The guy was trying to apologize saying they weren't directly affiliated. Yes... Yes you are. You are all catching paychecks from the same ownership group. I explained to them it would be quicker to send my cards to an ebay auction and buy them off of myself. Pick your poison at this point.. grade your cards at PSA, or have them shipped from COMC. It's becoming a neck and neck race to see who can deliver the quickest.

Genius! I didn't even think of that. I'm in the same boat with my 12/5 order. And the items ahead of mine keep going up...

I don’t understand the complaints.

First, you knew or should have known this was the case as it has been for about 4-5 years now.

Second you also knew or should have known that the predicted ship date and the number of orders ahead of you are meaningless numbers. It seems quite a few of you are utterly fixated on the numbers provided, when everyone knows those numbers are utterly meaningless.

This isn’t to defend comcs business practices. I couldn’t care less what comc deems fit in that regard. What I am concerned about is my choices. What I can do regarding the situation. And that part is abundantly clear. I can buy or not buy on comc.

But complaining about numbers everyone knows are cooked? I don’t get it.

Bottom line is comc’s attitude is “we’ll ship when we feel like it and you consumer can suck it”. Choose or not choose to patronize them knowing that’s the situation.

Yeah at this point you should expect a shipment to take about 3 months regardless of whether you are paying $10 or $100 for shipping costs. Their main priority is the millions of COMC bids on Ebay and getting those out as fast as possible. You think that they could hire more people but who knows

Hopefully they keep providing those credits like the last time.

With COMC, everything is pretty random.

I've had both the orders in the past few months ship much faster than the dates I was initially given.

A lot of it has to do with the complexity of your order....it's the pulling of the cards that takes time, not the actual shipping.

If you place a small order with cards from only 1-2 sets, then it will be much easier to pull & assemble than a larger, more complex order.
