Joe Burrow Prices
Surprised that a discussion of just Joe Burrow hasn’t been created. As much as I enjoy Breesus85 sharing his growing PC of Burrow I think a new thread to discuss Burrow within the QB card marketplace makes sense.
photos of some of my favorites in my PC just to get conversation started. Herbert is better, but Burrow is tougher.

Thanks sstroh84! His prices really haven’t moved all that much and most of his stuff is considerably cheaper than last year. I think if the Bengals can stay in the playoff race his prices will move as the year goes on. Love the Kaboom by the way!
|
The Burrow Immaculate Collegiate in OSU gear is a real mind bender.
|
The injury last year is still in people’s minds and he’s on the Bengals. But if they keep winning and Chase and him keep going off his stuff should really go up. Seems like a cool dude
|
Sunday night game: winner sits at the top of the AFC. Noice

i'll say this about the two of them, because they really remind me of Marino and Kelly. Herbert is Marino, he'll get all the stats and throw for 100,000 yards in his career or whatever but Burrow will eventually get to the Super Bowl with Cincy. he's good. he's more of a franchise QB than Trevor Lawrence is. |
Burrow should have been pulled yesterday in the 4th up by 20. Why expose your qb coming off a serious injury to unnecessary hits?
|
Got this one back... sweet RC/Auto if anyone is interested...

because he was gunning for the yardage record. This was mentioned a few times post-game |

The comments by the Ravens defensive coaches before the game and Burrow remembering last year when the Ravens were throwing deep when the game was well in hand motivated the looks downfield late. Burrow is tired of the Bengals being disrespected and then other teams crying when they do it back. This kid scream confidence and charisma. A true leader. |
just a average QB bengals will never win a superbowl and burrow is injury prone. He already blew out his knee. Let the prices soar and I'll laugh my asses off when he becomes a matthew stafford or phillip rivers

Why would you laugh at any athlete getting a serious injury? You sad waster. |
Why would you laugh at any athlete getting a serious injury?
You sad waster.
alpha has a special blend of personality and positivity. ;) and I'm sure he's probably really good looking. |
After that injury
To come back and have the year he is having Incredible….. If he has 2 more good games I could see top 5 mvp |
Why would you laugh at any athlete getting a serious injury?

Pretty sure it was the Dallas Cowboys. |
Joe Burrow owns the Ravens... over 900 yards against them this season. NFL RECORD!! He comeback player of the year?
|
I have some nice high dollar cards to trade towards a Joe Burrow.P.M. We can post the trade in the forum so everyone can see it. I'm very serious well.

Hopefully his injury that took him off the field the last two plays is nothing serious.

so last week they beat the ravens practice squad, this week they beat the hottest team in the nfl, what's the excuse?

Selling his Prizm gold /10 over the summer is going to be my biggest collecting regret. Really needed the $4k at the time, but I cant imagine what that'd go for right now.
|
Optic Green Velocity PSA 10 went for $800 a little bit ago. That was a $300 card not long ago.

Big coming out party for him.
Fantastic play over the last few weeks. |
Wow a Blue Optic Ticket Auto /75 for him just sold for $3,450.
|
Is this scenario possible:
Titans and Chiefs lose next week, Cincy wins, and with the better conference record over TN and KC, could that possibly make Cincy the 1 seed? |
Still looking too trade for a Burrow.
|
Thoughts on Base Prizm RC for Burrow...
Current - $40-$50 on average Wins 1 playoff game - $75 after game until next game Goes to AFC Championship Game - $85+before game starts Goes to Super Bowl - $100+ before game starts Wins Super Bowl - $130+ Loses 1st round game - stays around $30 this offseason |
Got about 10-12 smokin' Joe PSA slabs in from Cali last week. Just shipped em to Ricky but keeping:
-Phoenix En Fuego PSA 9 - best insert Poopini has ever made. Looks like Flair Hot Shots -Optic Preview bass PSA 10 - super rare. GL finding a clean centered copy. Market treats it like a bastard child of regular Optic when it's actually the kang |

Here's a few of my Joey B's. I truly believe Burrow will have a better career then Herbert. This kid is finally getting his due.

I love Burrows and expect him to have a great career. However at this point I like Herbert a little better given he is 2 years younger and hasn’t had a recent major injury.
But both could be great, I just think as of now Burrows is a bigger risk but boy he has looked amazing recently. |

First career playoff win! Great day for Joey B!
|
Kinda feel like the playoff win may have already been built into his prices lately. Still a huge win for the Bengals and just solidifies the current values on Burrows cards.

i think hes gonna be a top tier qb for awhile to come but thats just me. he is kind of a legend around these parts though so i was picking up whatever burrows i can the last couple years and was lucky enough to pull a base pink fluorescent from a mosaic mega box so theres that

But both could be great, I just think as of now Burrows is a bigger risk but boy he has looked amazing recently.
I like both but for me what separates them a little are the teams. Herbert is on an aging team on offense which could hurt him for a few years while Burrow has a unbelievable youth squad around him that they can build on for several years and if that defense can catch up with the offense the Bengals are going to be a team to recon with for the next 4-5 years at minimum. |
Key inflection point in Joe Burrow prices coming up. I think a win against the Raiders was somewhat priced in. Beating the #1 seed in their own building with a good game will send his prices about 20 to 30% higher is my guess. If he has a great performance it could go up even more. Either way, barring injury I think he's a great long term buy.

Agree with this 100%. Sunday's game will be very important for his short term pricing. If they get the W I can't see his prices dropping much whenever their season is over. Him and the team will have undoubtedly accomplished more than anyone could have imagined this year. If Tennessee wins still a great season and him & the team have shown a lot of promise which is great, but I do think a single playoff win this year was kind of already basked into his current prices as well. |
I'm still looking to trade Stafford Contender graded,50th Kobe rookie towards a nice Burrow. I believe in Burrow alot.

yea Joe's injury last year threw a lot of investors off and left them in a quagmire, even his hardcore fans. I'm pretty sure many investors redirected their focus to Herbert after Joe went down and Herbert's spectacular season last year. |
