Yes, it’s 12:01 and yes, my pick ups technically came in on Saturday, but I started the last two monthly pickup threads, so I’ll start this one too. I actually hadn’t picked a single card up all month until I found these few for a great deal. The market has been weird, and I didn’t really like anything at the prices they were going. Anyway, here’s the haul. The Shadow box set from Tribute this year is beautiful... super underrated set. The Mo has been a card I’ve been wanting for a while. Got lucky and scored it for $30. Copy the link. I usually open the attached image in a new tab and just copy the URL.

Use the [img] tags and insert the image like you would a link that ends in ".jpg". Doesn't matter that it doesn't have a traditional extension. Hit 'preview post' and see if it shows like you want. That's it!

Thanks! I agree on not being excited about the 2020 Topps design as a whole, but it has grown on me little by little. I still without a doubt prefer the 2019 flagship design by a large margin.

Funny, I don't actually like this year's purple (especially compared to last year's). And I really don't care for the yellow. The Canadian, however... I have a few of those Bichettes on the way. I LOVE that card.

I'm torn on the gold foils. I like that they're (considerably) more rare than the golds and foils, but it oddly combines the two more plentiful parallels rather than offering something unique. It would kinda be like having a Vintage Independence Day, or a lavender Parents Day parallel.

I picked up 2 Biggio golds as a "just in case". One came today.

The Griffey is pure gold for my collection.

As an aside, eBay sellers are getting pretty ballsy with how they're shipping stuff.

A PSA card in a super thin bubble mailer and nothing else to protect it. Wow look at that centering! 6's are my favorite grade for vintage cards....sharp, crease free, nice looking cards, but a fraction of the price of higher grades.

I think it’s undergraded too, it’s hard to tell with it being encased but I really don’t see anything that would merit a 5. I’m strongly considering cracking it out and resubmitting. I mean being in it for only $5 what’s the harm of cracking and it coming back the same grade?

I have an opportunity to pick up the Father’s Day Blue for around $60. Not a huge fan of the blues, but the offer is certainly enticing.

Picked up this bad boy for $50 shipped. Figured I couldn’t go wrong at that price.

Thanks! I feel the same way about 6’s. My 1956 collection is focused on high eye appeal 6’s and I’ve had a blast building it. I had a wonderful SGC 5.5 that I wanted to upgrade. It took me 2 years to find the new one!

That 7 looks a lot better than most I have seen. Definitely one of Ted’s most appealing issues.

Those are tough to find- Id buy it if it's sharp.

Had and sold my PSA 10 Trout Pro Debut a couple of weeks ago for a nice payday. Decided I still needed to have one in my collection so bought this. Looks perfect outside the centering so might resubmit to PSA for a 9. BTW this is a very underrated card still for Trout. Great picture, is a 2010 card, and has low pop for grading in general vs the Update.
