I thought it might be fun to start a thread of cards with Jordan in the Background.

Everyone knows the current couple background Jordan cards because of the UD lawsuit (Rodman Contenders, Pippen Optic). But tons of old cards have him too. Can you find any in your stash? I'll start it out

This post made me look up these cards and I just saw how much the 2017 Optic with Jordan in the background is going for now.

Base for $40 and Silvers $125.

I picked up one of these a while back for $20 because I thought it'd be a cool card to add to my "collecting for cheap" pile.

I strongly disagree, I would consider the Sam Vincent card the most infamous FOREGROUND Jordan, a seriously sweet card!
For Background, I've always loved this one - there's 4 guys fighting over an invisible ball while Ewing has is it way away from the action while he's levitating...

The most famous stadium club one is the John Starks card!!

I saw another member post this earlier this month and brought it up again a few days ago. After my post, all of the BINS on eBay were hit for the base versions of this card.

I remember when Harold Miner was coming into the NBA his nickname was "Baby Jordan", which makes this card even better.

Broke my purchasing disclaimer when I found this beauty. "Jordan" Refractor! The actual 98 Jordan Chrome Refractor goes for about $1,000, so I'll snag this all day. Also has Dikembe and Kerr showing.

The Miner/Jordan used to be a hot card. Beckett used to write a w/Jordan in the guide because it was such a selling point. MJ and the “next MJ” but we know now how that story ended up

Absolutely love the look of this card, MJ and Ewing

This Tuff Stuff set from 1991 has seven Jordan cameos of out 27 total cards in the set, plus Jordan had 9 o f his own cards (9 Jordans, 9 Magic and 9 other players involved in the NBA Finals that year).

The Levingston card is too funny, he is basically an after thought in the picture.

Another thing, the 93-94 Topps Stadium Club of Ewing above nicely complements the 92-93 Stadium Club of MJ below. Kind of like a sequel

I've been gong through my cards due to the base card hype and looking for MJ in the background cards. No luck so far.
