A couple playoff games, and people start faking patches on Ryan Tannehill. :doh:

I think that set was all nameplate pieces but not completely sure.

I have the 4/20 and it looks like this.

By and large yes, but there’s at least a couple exceptions with the 2008 Masterpieces /50 patch set. Chad Henne and Ladainian Tomlinson both have nfl shields /50. One is on COMC and the other belongs to a member here who just posted it for sale the other day. There wasn’t anything numbered less than 50 in that set and a couple shields made it into a card. I don’t know of any other shields that wouldn’t be 1/1’s though.

FYI, the original patch on this card is still there, the shield was glued onto the existing patch. Being it was mostly white!

Bidding ended at $88.02 with 21 bids. Even though the sings were there, with the way the patch under the shield looked, wanted to believe it to be a shield patch.

I have never pulled a shield card so I am really not sure but considering how picky the NFL is isn't that made to sloppy and it seems I remember the jersey shields being made of rubber or some sort of plastic the past several years

Just in case there’s any doubt - it’s faker than fake. Miami wore Nike jerseys with flywire collars from 2012-2017. Then they had the triangular ones.
