Just want to say I will try and be more active this year on here then last...been a very busy year for me with other things and the Facebook Now page. We have 10 Open Members of the Platinum club (and a few lurkers) on the Facebook page including myself so there is a lot of knowledge there and have pretty much let it become a free for all for buy selling and trading (not just me selling). Not just Now either but all on line products...

Trying to see if we can get a pre-seller of all products on the page so we can cut out eBay and the tax man from hitting us small time buyers multiple times. I am not positive I will do any pre-selling in 2020 except for those in my buyers club and then only for Now cards. Also will be looking for feedback and questions for March's Summit (Hopefully it will be in Florida or Arizona) vs NY. Thanks, I got a lot of stuff going on and kinda disappeared but I'm still lurking and enjoy the program.

I am just ticked at not only the usual devaluation of TN purchases but the outright slaughter of 2017 and 2018 WS relics and autos worth #%*& thanks to the As---s and Sox. They were for PC but would have been nice to hit a point to say hey fan of a champ, here's a whole set of /5s or /10s and try to sell them off. Easily done now for pesos on the dollar.

But this year is about PC players only, not chasing every bright shiny object or jewel on a /5 or /10, especially since they were so "bountiful" on /5s and /10s for the one non-cheating franchise to win a WS in the last 3 years.

Can't wait to see the 2 Felony Squads in a spring training game where you can hear people in the crowd plain as day. It will be verbal assault for the ages, and they deserve every bit of it. Would love to do a GoFundMe to get banner planes to fly around Palm Beach or Fort Myers. :cool:

But as far as TN, let's hope it's a good year, have some fun at the meeting in March and enjoy a great ASG in Hollywood!

And JJM, good to see you on here back along with the usual band of misfits with more cards than we know what to do with!

Hope they make Jeter autos up to /99 if they do them. I could see it being something stupid though like only up to the /25 parallels.

Wouldnt be shocked if there is no /99 Only Jeter autos were the jersey retirement base cards and those started at $999 for /25

Also very few Larry Walker auto cards were made during his career. Probably not currently under contract.

Yeah I was worried about that when I saw the presser was today and there were no cards today. Much prefer an auto card of Jeter in his uniform from a game (like HoF induction cards in years past) instead of the press conference hall of fame jersey.

I own 17 of his "vintage (up to 1996): autographs; I don't need to spend that amount of money for one of his contemporary autographs.

And I can still purchase pre-1996 Jeter autographs for a decent price.

Well, I was expecting $400 for a /99 at most and I was hesitant at that price. I've got spending money to use on some good deals on Ebay.

The back is nice but the trophies and medal on the back are quite, um, generic...I mean we all know what the World Series Trophy looks like, right?

And it's just a regular Jeter imagine. Not necessarily anything related to his HOF announcement.

Yeah, hard pass at the $749 /49 cards.

The /99 are sold out along with the /1 and /5! Last year I bought the Rivera and had it dual graded by PSA and came back and 10/10 and was able to flip it for a nice profit. Hoping to do the same with Jeter. Can’t believe I actually paid that much!!

They are not.
No autos they sell are that..
They sell for overpriced autos to the sucker(s) who will never sell the cards and will die with them in their possession.

Disappointed to see these “sold out”. Whether they actually did or not, who knows? (True indicator will be how much show up on secondary market as there are always plenty when these offerings truly sell out) I love collecting Topps Now and i was a big Jeter fan, but I was hoping most would stay away to send a message to Topps that these idiotic prices are not ok.

Unfortunately, there are too many collecting now that grossly overpriced Jeter autos will still sell out, it seems.

And I'm guilty of continuing to buy Topps products that I like because of that damn exclusive license - because I love cards and hate generic city names and airbrushed logos.

There was a 1/1 Jeter auto that sold for under the $600 /99 auto price. Just how ridiculous the auto pricing was on these.

What’s ridiculous to some, including me, wasn’t too ridiculous for others.
