Well done! Let that other one die an ignoble death.
Same thing happened with the Trout thread last year. Some dipstick trolled the life out of it and new one (existing one) had to be started.
Proud to be on first page of that one and this. Go Eloy!

Basically so far what we have learned is that Eloy can hit 25 homers in his sleep (which we kind of already knew). Watch out when he puts it all together.

Eloy ready to start showing what he's capable of.

462! Another 450ft+ HR. He hits them a very long way!

Yes. It was hit over the batters eye in center field. I’ve been watching Sox games since 1990 and I’ve never seen anything close to that. To the casual fan it’s a monster blast, but to a Sox fan that was “remember the day when...” significant.

Thome's was majestic, but Eloy's last night was literally unbelievable. It didn't even seem like he swung that hard. Guy has ridiculous power.

I’ve been on board since Topps Series 1. PC so far. Waiting on redemptions to be filled and S2 autos to come in the mail. Only collecting Topps (and Bowman later in the year) with the RC logo.

Like how everyone sleeping on Eloy with Vlad this and Vlad that when I feel eloy is better but I’m a six fan so biased...and I just picked up a /25 finest rookie auto for 200. Late to getting his cards but going to grow my pc of white Sox cards. Eloy and Robert cards won’t easy or cheap for me to get.

Big time players shine in big time moments! No...it’s not the post season...but 9th inning vs. the Cubs is as close to the post season as the Sox have had in a long time! It’s great to see non-Sox fans enjoy watching Eloy too. His fun approach is contagious...he’ll make a lot of fans! Count me in as one!

exactly! i watched a good amount of his Barons games the last couple of season. he is a big boy lol

It's going to be tough for the White Sox team to produce a better moment this year than Eloy hitting a go-ahead homer in the ninth at Wrigley. I haven't felt those feelings in a long time.

To Cubs fans, maybe it isn't, but to the Sox, it was a really big game. This team is on the rise and with Eloy going back to Wrigley and having that happen, it was huge. This team lacks the starting pitching this year to make noise, but it is coming. This team is having fun and is really fun to watch.

Homered in his first game at Wrigley against the team that traded him away. Love to see that.

Yes! He was dialed in at Birmingham shortly after the trade if I remember correctly. Hit over .350 with a few moon shots! Reminds me a lot of Jermaine Dye’s frame. Only his legs generate a ton of his power simply by standing up out of the crouch. Looks so effortless.

Unfortunately looks like the Cubs have Giolito’s Number. Always going to be a team that will get a pitcher. Ivan Nova has surpassingly stumped the Cubs two games..go figure.

This. Loved getting to see him every week. Was truly a pleasure getting to watch this guy hit.

Stocking up quite heavily on Eloy cards. Mostly autos when I can but I take any I can find. So far have a Finest /25 auto, a 2019 Bowman green shimmer /99 auto, a 2019 Bowman mega refractor auto and a stadium club auto I won in a break where I bought the Sox. I also got the sp variation of Eloy from that break plus the Frank Thomas sp variation.

Same break also got a bunch of regular Eloy rookies, a red and black foil regular Thomas and a Kopech /50 auto. Same break I bought into a finest break fro the White Sox got a Tim Anderson /99 Auto and Kopech auto. Also picked up when I bought the above Bowman Mega auto was another Tim Anderson Auto and 3 of the Finest Eloy colors. Refractor, /99 and the /250 refractors. Lastly of Eloy of note is a Bowman purple /250. Of course I have a ton of Topps rookies, Stadium club like mentioned, Finestna dmost other releases.

Still have a bunch to go but I am struggling to want to get his earlier cards in a Cubs uniform despite them being his "huge"cards. Eventually.

Agree. Especially with the white Sox colors I had to spring for the black. Used some ebay bucks to pay for most of it so it was an easier decision. I think it will be one of if not the top RC for him eventually.

Well I’m obviously biased but I’d pull the trigger! What will ultimately be the most desirable rookies of players in today’s day with so many products? My guess is valuable flagship variations/parallel, Topps Chrome auto, Heritage real one / black refractors, maybe dynasty or a transcendent? Those are the ones I will target at least.

I love parallels that play off the color scheme of the team as well, so Topps black and white Sox go well together!
