I've shown my collection a few times but I know a lot of you have some great cards of his and now that they hype train in at full steam, I'm dying to see what you all are sitting on.

Can't wait for this kid to get the call.

I'll play... I bought these all VERY early and for fantastic prices. I really want a Non Auto Color PSA - Preferably Blue. I sold a Purple Auto Gem recently to fund another big PC purchase.

I got a Ref Auto PSA 10, and some slabbed Mega box stuff.

Not as much as I'd like, but I'm happy to have gotten in when I did, even if it was a bit late.

Chrome looks nice. Might actually grade it. Studio auto was essentially free (bought it and another card for $50 total, then sold that other card for $50).

These non-autos are to be joined by a 2017 Gold Ref /50 from Chrome. Top left is a Ref /499.

Sadly just orange Bowman Platinum auto. Didn’t feel like paying to play when his cards came out. Debut price looked to risky, but has paid off for the OG buyers.

I wanted to add one more card to my collection. This one will be here tomorrow according to shipping. I love the Elite autos, as they are much cheaper but very condition sensitive. His auto is also very hard to get a "10" on a sticker. When I saw this card come up, I knew I had to have it. Luckily, the seller was more than reasonable in his price, and I was able to tack on an additional 15% off coupon!

Last winter was the time to buy. Base were 85-100 and refractors 150 or so. I bought 2 refractors and a bowmans best gem (and wish I got a lot more), sold a couple but still have a nice refractor auto in the collection.

I've got 2 Green Bowman Best autos. One has dimples from dog biting mailer, the other has a crease on the back. :(

I added this one recently.. terrible pic at the moment. I really like the elite cards, and to find one /5 that is a gem is tough as these generally grade poorly. I got this with the 15% off promo so the deal was just too good, especially since he negotiated very well from his $999.99 starting price, lol.

A full season tearing up AA and probably AAA and a rise to undisputed #1 overall prospect and his prices [U]definitely[/U] have a lot of room to grow.

This guy on ebay "beanz" has a bunch of the higher end ones. I actually offered him $1700 and separately sent him a pm saying this is $100 over the highest recorded sale, please respond as I will be out of the area for a few days. No response on the offer. No response to the message.

I'm not cool with that on such a high end card, so I retracted my offer after about 30 hours of no response. But needless to say unless the guy is that busy, people are not rushing to sell their high end Vlad.

I also sent what I thought was a decent offer of $1450 for the Blue back in March but got no response. I always wonder why people list cards with an OBO if they don't intend to counter decent offers. Even if you only intend to come down a little why not counter and send a message saying that is as low as you are willing to go. Otherwise what is the point of the OBO. Either way, his card his price but I would agree that he is certainly in no hurry to sell.

This seems to be the norm I am finding on anything other than a Base auto whichgenerally had a pretty fixed market price. The color stuff seems to be really hard to get. I have a Blue myself and will have a hard time letting it go, even at over "market value" as I am still trying to pick up a few things. I have always told myself that when I can get $2000 after fees that I will sell. Now that it is getting close I might change my mind, lol. However, I recently bought an elite gem /5 and I would have paid double for it as I really wanted it. Glad I didn't have to

I just personally think it is rude especially dealing with high end when you can't even respond to a buyer. 1st it's bad business as a seller because one day they may be the only guy will to pay for an item you wanna move and it's better to just treat them with respect. 2nd, the high end game is full of shadiness, I want to be able to reach my high end buyers and sellers. As a guy who has done several 5k+ transactions, it let's you breathe easier when you can trust the person on the other side or at the least be able to ask them something.

Yea I mean if you were going after McKay, Javier, Sanchez, hell even Eloy the market is more fluid but the top guys, Ohtani, Acuna, Vlad, maybe 1 or 2 other names, there is not as much wiggle room due to simnple supply and demand. Add in the fact that many of these guys holding their Vlads only got them between November and February and they may have bought holding for a Sept callup or even long term sell or PC. So it's a tough market.

With that being said, it's not like it's a red or super. If you are gonna put up with an OBO and auto reject any offer under $1700, then not respond when you get an offer that finally qualifies, I'm not sure what your goal is. Even if someone hits the BIN at some point it was just not a good vibe to several potential real buyers who got autorejected with fair offers.

For some, it's a pissing contest. They just want to show what they have and eBay is as good as any to get eyes on it. He probably has no intention of selling.

Just wait until next March, these prices will look reasonable. His base gems, barring injury or a PED suspension, will be north of $1k during spring training next year.

You didn’t overpay. I was looking at that too.

Picked up a BGS 9.5 base auto yesterday. Centering and edges pristine, corners and surface a 9.5. Also, the auto is one of the nicest looking examples I’ve seen.

Definitely paid a big premium, but going to try to get it bumped. True gems, let alone true gem plus, are hard to come by. And only 11 pristine examples with no black labels. Compare that to Acuna who has 70 pristine and 9 black labels!

Thanks, I got it in hand yesterday and regret nothing :)!. It's my new favorite card!

I noticed that sale and scratched head until I clicked and saw the subs! It's a tough card to grade. Hopefully there is a fingerprint that you can simply wipe off, resub and get a pristine! Best of luck with it.

I purchased an ungraded purple ref auto during the 15% off day earlier this month. When I received it I was a little disappointed because a corner was a little soft and turned up so I knew it wouldn't be a high grade. But I just tried my best to smooth out the corner and sent it in to BGS expecting an 8.5. When I went online to check my grade to my total surprise the card got a 9.5! But it had a 9 auto...oh well I'm still tickled.

Well I get the card in hand yesterday and they put a "10" label in for the auto. BGS you silly rascals!!

Big difference between 9 auto and 10 auto prices.

Some pretty crazy Vlad sales in the last 24 hours with him mashing AA and eBays 15% off discount. Purple gems going for $1,200, ref gems going for $1k, base gems hitting $750, a gold non-auto gem just sold for $650. A lot of his Best/Platinum autos are also selling quickly.

Had these raw graded today. The three Bowman cards and two Bowman's Best cards are all jersey numbered cards (ie. 27/50, 27/150, etc). Can't wait until Vlad grabs the number 1 spot on Prospect lists.

Honestly, it wasn’t great. Everything was overpriced and anyone that had ANY Guerrero wanted the moon for it. The good thing was that dealers were buying and baseball was prevalent. Dealers are smartening up.
