What's the value difference between let's say a game used bat from a rookie year then a game used bat from their 2nd year. Both authenticated as game used. Both uncracked. Bigger name player. Doesn't have to be Acuna as an example.

I see it like this:

Step 1: Bat Downs become "unaffordable" (likely $1K+)
Step 2: US250's spike ($100+)
Step 3: Holiday's jump as the most "affordable" bat down

The holiday Metallics seem to be on the more affordable side, no?

What’s the general consensus on the update negative? Decent investment due to crazy low print run or too niche to rise much in value over the years?

Upper left is my first Acuna pickup in a while. A bit conflicted on the card as I think it's overpriced for what it is, but I do dig the subtle color difference (and prefer it to the error version).

Still looking for a black refractor and red ink auto fyi.

Nice haul!

I had a 100th Anniversary Heritage last year (non stamp but /25 print run) and it was graded a PSA 10. Ended up selling it as the stamp didn’t do much for me. IMO the action trumps every other Heritage Acuna RC regardless of print run.

Multiple psa 10 copies sold for $2500-3k during the season...so I think there’s plenty of room for growth
