I hit two of those in a 10 case break I did in early 2019... buy-in price??? I think it was like $800. Shocking to see how bad a deal breaking is, when you hit the best card possible, and it hardly clears your buy-in price. :D

I should have just gone ahead and bought $800 worth of those autos, would have been a cheaper way to go.

Best auto subject possible yeah. A couple hundred better #/d Soto autos though you could have hit.

I bought the gold in Nov. '19 and the base auto in Jan '20...both true gem+ with '9' autos. Tried crossing both, but only one crossed. Still under $800 into both. :)!

Just had some grades pop today, including a pop 1 Soto. :eek: (it's the least spectacular card possible, but it's the only copy graded by PSA :cool: )

Personally think the Best Auto is a great card, given that he doesn't have as many RC Autos as most other modern stars. The Gold is great!

I bid something like $2,400-$2,500 on the raw gold BB auto yesterday. Was also chasing the BGS 9.5 (max sub) TT auto in last night's PWCC. Not getting either made me pretty sad, not gonna lie.

With you on this one. Most importantly, he has the card…but I’d rather have that card in the same order; a PSA 9 slab, then BGS 9.5, then raw. The BGS slabs really dull a refractor.

I would say about a 4.5. I used to actually watch Juan Maas bat when I heard the next Ted Williams was in town. Now, I just look at the box score as his batting average slowly rolls down hill. You will call me a liar, but I predicted this some time ago. So, I suppose I am enjoying a small bit of schadenfreude over the cheerleaders here. Petty, I know. But we are on the internet after all.
