I passed on a quad soto bgs 9.5 tcu pink refractor for $650 right before the season started.

I'm not buying anything at the moment aside from hot players. Too much downside risk in the next 6-9 months.

Kevin Maas hit .193 in [I]his[/I] 5th year. We got a way to go.

And he's third from last in the league in BABIP. He's running at least 60 points south of where he should be in terms of BA just on sheer variance. His walk rate is still Juan Soto, his power stats are right in line with last year. His hitting is going to be fine.

Fangraphs hates his defense and has him as one of the half dozen most damaging defensive players in the leagues; I don't know what to make of that.

Defensive metrics are garbage IMO. I’m not going to carry water for Soto’s RF work, I’m just saying that in general those metrics don’t matter to me one iota.
