I guess Chuckbrook is an all world defender now since he had 7 steals in this game.
It seems as all curry fans uses Curry steal average as him being a great defender so I guess that logic works for Chuckbrook as well. Great win for the thunder and three more to go!!!
Who said Westbrook was a supreme defender? He atleast guards the best players or atleast his man at point game in and game out. This isn't about how good Westbrook is on defense it's about how curry gets hidden within the defense. Golden state is good at that. Today they were able to get curry moving a little more than usual and it show by those lazy 3s he threw up. It's still only game one. OKC just has to keep doing it for 7 games. Curry might get one on them at some point but over the long haul he will wear down, as long as you make him move his feet. |
Did Steven Adams just refer to the Warriors as "quick little monkeys" on ESPN?

Did Steven Adams just refer to guards as "quick little monkeys" in his interview with Chris Broussard on ESPN?
I thought that I was hearing things. Glad someone else heard it too. |
Waiters did well tonight with some big shots. Hope he continue to play his role
|
Great win for OKC. They outplayed the W's and made more of their opportunities.
YUP.
And for the rest of these playoffs....I'll make sure to make a HUGE DEAL whenever I see fans leaving early. BECAUSE EVERYONE F'ING DOES IT!
I'm curious to what time during the game did those heat fans leave? To be honest I could careless if fans leave early. |
I'm sure everyone in sports forumboards like these loves sports a lot and are not "casual" fans.
But the TRUTH is....MOST fans ARE casual fans. And they only care about sports if their team is doing well. It's called HUMAN NATURE. I may be a HUGE sports fan, but I understand this very well and I'm not one of these people who think certain fanbases are better or worse than others. That is utterly ridiculous. |
I'll reiterate: Russ is NOT a superstar.
Totally.
nope. just like his 1st half performance. |
And remember warriors fans this is not the Rockets or the Blazers. OKC can play. I think warriors will recover next game but also Westbrook and Durant will not shoot 30% all series so we have some good games coming up.
|
Color me surprised. I still think the Warriors take the series, but I no longer think it's over in 5 games. 6 or 7 now.
Great game. Not rooting for either team, I just want a great series and it looks like we should get one. :D |
Anyways....
Would LOVE to see OKC take the Warriors out. But, I still see the Warriors winning this. Prove me wrong OKC! |
Chuckbrook, Chucked it down GS's throat LOL
Run to the 3 point line and keep shooting, jack it up GS Chuckers |
Golden State didn't shoot well and still had a chance to win the game. I don't think the Warriors will have trouble bouncing back, and I see them taking this in 7 at home. It'll be a good series!

Yeah, and the Thunder sure lit it up tonight... Warriors are in big trouble imo. |
Talking about not shooting well, Durant and Westbrook are shooting like nuts...10/30 and 7/21, and they still took it from G's.
I'd say this is the type of defense game for OKC to win , if both team are shooting well, OKC will have no chance. |
nope. just like his 1st half performance.
Yeah, because overall game performance is based on one half. Totally didn't matter that they won the game because of his second half performance, either. 27/6/12/7 #notasuperstar |
This Westbrook not a superstar thing is cracking me up, good job:)!
Yeah, because overall game performance is based on one half.

LOL Westbrook and Durant were 17 for 51, so they shot it better? Durant at one point was 0 for 7 straight! Its what happens when you live by the 3 and besides running back to defend you stay to celebrate Cough *Curry* I want to hear the next excuse LOL |

Golden State typically shoots well. The Thunder shoot mediocre at best and win a lot of the time, but the Warriors will have to shoot well to win the series being undersized. I expect them to do so. Anybody but Cleveland, please. Lol. |

THIS!!! |
Adams has emerged as the 3rd head of the OKC Big 3 lol
|
Okc has now beat Spurs twice at San Antonio and now the Warriors.
5-1 on the road. So it's the Warriors versus the road warriors. Awesome series. |

Totally didn't matter that they won the game because of his second half performance, either. 27/6/12/7 #notasuperstar
A game performance is shown during the season, not a capsule of a single game and you know that. His first half performance was meek and obviously didn't do anything. His defense was absolute trash, but you've actually got to watch the game for that because every time he misses on a steal it's a wide open 3 or easy 2 pt shot/layup. Stats mean nothing to me if you're dominating the ball and that's what he does. He will come down the court and shoot a shot, whether it goes in or not, and he will come down the next possession and launch the next one, and then another one. I'd rather have a player that can recognize that they're off and stop the bleeding rather then letting it bleed. However, if he wins the lottery once, you know that eventually he will hit it again :p |
what a game, excited for the series as a whole
