Very few. You can see from the pop report logs on gemrate.com that the weekend has a tiny amount of poppage compared to weekdays. There's a lag with the pop report so the days don't line up perfectly but the two days w/ minimal production are obviously from the weekends.

I received a "Thank you for your PSA order" email from PSA. I'm assuming that's just standard boiler plate stuff that's emailed out after they receive your sub?

Has anyone found a correlation between how long cards are in the green check mark assembly step and what location they ship from? Ex. Cards in assembly for a week+ ship from New Jersey?

If your Order Receipt -> Order Prep took about 2-2.5 calendar weeks then safe to say they shipped your cards to NJ for grading.

Both of my orders sent to CA late August were eventually shipped from NJ.

I live in northern California. Had an order go from green check mark assembly to grades ready in 9 days in September. The order took 18 days from Order Received (in early August) to Order Prep. The entire order, all sports cards, was done at the California site.

Right now it should take about that long regardless. A week or so ago customer service told me they were over two weeks behind on logging orders (I asked b/c one of mine wasn't scanned in as received).

Experiences vary, I guess. I dropped off an order at a PSA event on Saturday (10/19) and it's already in the middle of R&ID as of Wed today (10/23).

I typically average about 50% gems on orders of 50 cards, mostly 2023-2024. Last two orders came back 45% gem rate, 25% gem rate. The 25%, the guy gave me 33 PSA 9, 4 PSA 8 on 50 card order. This grader was definitely rushing through the cards and just giving 9s out. There are definitely 'rogue' graders within PSA.

Figured this was probably more appropriate in this thread. A couple of the highlights from my recent return. Note, these are the highlights. The 6 PSA 8's I received will be getting cracked and sent to my normal grader of choice.
