Well you've seen one now, still 4 more out there in the wild. Other than the Topps Certified Auto line beneath his name and serial no. on back, the auto is identical to the base card, including the back - same code and everything; card stock might be slightly thicker, but not noticeably and could easily be overlooked.

It caught me off guard since it just appeared to be another BG insert, there was no joy in slow rolling it.

Nothing. Those little pin head dimples, all I could find. Found them in the same spots on another PSA-10, so shipped off expecting a 10. The BGS 9 did have more of the little dimples than the other two HMT55 I sent at the same time, but not more or different than other PSA-10s. So just a different opinion from PSA vs BGS.

The 2020 Stadium Club Chrome Soto has more pronounced dimples (for lack of a better word, they aren't dents into the card I don't believe), and they vary from one to the next....so I'm curious if PSA considers them or not. I have a bunch waiting for cheap grading, so not sure yet what the gem rate will be. The SCC have other surface issues sometimes, which wasnt common on '18 TCU, so I assume that explains the lower gem rate on the '20 SCC shuffles graded so far.

Soto stuff is selling really well on eBay. It’s going to be a fun summer for our Soto stashes. If he plays at an mvp level things could really pop. Let’s goooo!

Seems like such an odd signing. Why would they add a 41 year old DH to a team that's basically rebuilding and why would he sign there vs a team that has a better chance to win?

Nats must have offered the most money (maybe by far?). Zero reason to sign there, other than the money.

I think some of the BG autos were /10 were so a little sad to see this is only /5.

But good to know the code is the same and my filter hasn't missed anything.

I opened a jumbo case and two hobby cases, and don't plan on opening any more of either. Not a single 87 Mojo Soto. Guess I'll have to just snag one off the bay.

Man, JB takes a ton of shade on here as inferior protection for the chosen Juan but he wasn't awful last year, especially later on in the season.
