Kyrie would probably get my vote as the best finisher in the game. But he is not a smart situational basketball player
Agreed. He makes absolutely horrible tactical decisions sometimes. He's not as bad as he used to be, but he still has his moments. |
Just terrible execution down the stretch by the Cavs. I thought they had it and offense and defense just fell apart.
They got their largest lead of the series by quickly distributing the ball to the person who had the best chance of making the field goal. After they had a lead, they reverted back to a 1v1 style of basketball with little distribution. Not a good idea. |
Ridiculous job by Kyrie trying to take Klay one on one and dribbling around for 20 seconds.
Probably had a flashback to the last Christmas game and started feelin' himself. Klay wasn't about to let it happen again. |
At least there is only one day off between games this time. Let's get this train wreck of a season over.
|
I mean it seemed like there was no coaching down the stretch.

I'll probably skip it, as it is all but a foregone conclusion at this point. Would not be surprised if they get routed by 2x+ on their own floor game 4, as you have to figure Curry and company are still a bit sour having the Cleveland confetti fall in Oracle last year. I can hear it now. 'Golden State, THIS IS FOR YOU.' |
If anything this series has proven, it takes an arsenal of incredibly skilled and talented players to beat Lebron. After thinking about it, I think the Warriors needed the second best player in the league to beat him after all.
|
Yeah, KD and Curry might not get max contracts, but Curry is going to demand more than $11 million a season. He absolutely has to get a raise, and that is what's going to make things more difficult for maneuvering for the Warriors.
Yeah for sure Curry is due for a raise. Just saying those guys are probably going to make a half a billion easy each when not even factoring their salaries by the time their career is done. I could be wrong but I think they'll find a way to make it work. |
That's what they do
Key word "reverted".:)! |
I mean it seemed like there was no coaching down the stretch.
Lue is nothing more than a figurehead, plain and simple. |

He has a .395 winning % in the finals now. Apparently it's not impossible. |
Can you blame the last few minutes on Lou? Or the player the most.
Well Lue just said he can't remember any specific play that happened in the last couple minutes when asked about it at the press conference. If you don't remember it didn't happen! |
What happened to my favorite game thread commentator?
I know theres been a ton of time between games but lebron is 32 and has played the 25th most regular season minutes in history ahead of mj, bill russell and well everybody in history except 24 other guys. He's 2nd in total playoff minutes played behind Tim Duncan. He lead the league in minutes this year. Dude has to be gassed and it's amazing he hasn't broken down really at all ever.
That goes both ways, if he had that "Clutch" Gene he could have saved tons of minutes by closing out a series once in awhile like Mike |

Very true. Although this has been the only competitive game this series. But Durant just makes that team borderline unfair. |

Agreed |
I mean it seemed like there was no coaching down the stretch.
Yeah, Coach Lebron disappeared from the game. He should called "give the ball to Lebron". |

Or it takes Lebron to fold like a chair in the 4th and average 5 points in the 4th quarter of the Finals.............. But Lebron made passes that made people go oooohhh so he will get a pass for averaging 5 |
That goes both ways, if he had that "Clutch" Gene he could have saved tons of minutes by closing out a series once in awhile like Mike
He actually saved more minutes by playing in the west conference every year. The 1st/2nd round of the playoff was a joke to his team anyway. |
Lol.

Fair enough. I think a lot of it is entering the league at 18 and having been incredibly durable never suffering a major issue. And not sure he's ever missed the playoff outside of maybe his rookie year. |
Lebron looked really bad down the stretch.
|
Man it takes a lot to beat Lebron.
Lebron let Durant shoot and make the biggest shot of the series. Lebron beat Lebron. |
The marijuana stank is going to be good tonight in that locker room.
