When you finish the game 0-8 that's on you. That's about as unclutch as can be. Warriors came through when needed.
|
Who would've thought Steph would outrebound Thompson in these finals. 13-3 in this game. Crazy
|
Korver had been pretty clutch from 3 and if he makes it that would have been dagger. I don't see a problem with it.
Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
The worst is not Korver. It was from Kyrie's step back 3s. He was 0-7 in the whole game. And he was making his living on layups whole night. No idea why he went for 3s instead of 2s. |
Man it takes a lot to beat Lebron AND company
Fixed it for you. You can't say Lebron carried this team. Kyrie stepped up big time. |
Oh please. What game were you watching?
I was watching the game in which the supposed GOAT did nothing in the last 2 minutes of the most critical game of the series. Then try to take the game tying shot and got stripped. Which game were you watching? Next time Bron needs to defer to Kyrie in crunch time and just try to get some rebounds. |

The Kardashian Curse  |
Lebron now averaging 5 points in the 4th quarter of the Finals......... Look out now
|

Ha ha that is crazy....really thought TT could be a big difference maker in this series on the boards |
people are forgetting the d Thompson played on Kyrie and the Iggie strip on Lebron on the last two possessions for the Cavs.
the defense really clamped down on the cavs: in the last 2:43, the warriors outscored them 11-0. series over....... Congrats Warriors!!!!! |
What was Lebron doing there just watching KD walk up to the 3 point line and pull up before putting a token hand up. It's just the game on the line.
His defensive intensity the whole series has been sporadic (at best), saving himself for offense. Bad moment for him to turn off. |
Lebron now averaging 5 points in the 4th quarter of the Finals......... Look out now
Exactly. Helluva player and the best of this generation, but that's how I'll always remember him when it's all said and done. |
Shame to see the game end like that. The Cavs played their hearts out, but poor shooting and dumb shots screwed them in the end. You basically need to bring your A+++++ game every game to beat a 73 win team that added the 2nd best player in the league in the offseason.
|
Nah, it will be the next two, most likely. Then Klay will be a free agent, and then the Warriors will have to choose between either having a couple people capable of playing coming off the bench or resigning Thompson.
It's sad that the best chance we have for fun basketball that we have is to hope San Antonio signs CP3 and Houston finds a player or two to add to their roster. Oh well.
The funny thing is, Iguodala was the best player on the Denver Nuggets when he played here. The Dubs are absolutely stacked with or without Klay. |
Curry has been great. Durant has been better.
Slightly better. lol. Curry averaging 28.7, 9.7, 9, but I would go with KD for now, especially after hitting that 3 to go up. |
Ha ha that is crazy....really thought TT could be a big difference maker in this series on the boards
I really wonder how much LeBron regrets pushing for Cleveland resign him and to pay him between $16 and 18 million a season now. I wonder if Cleveland can get creative and find a way out of this. |
Exactly. Helluva player and the best of this generation, but that's how I'll always remember him when it's all said and done.
Great player. One I despise, but still the greatest of the generation. |
Thompson basically became unplayable because Durant is on the floor instead of Barnes, and instead of somebody just ignoring Barnes when the Warriors go small, you need a real defender on Durant
|
I hate when teams start running the clock with 4 minutes to go when they are only up 4 points. The Cavs took the foot off the gas and settled for weak jumpshots instead of forcing the action on the Warriors. That's on Lebron. He was clearly the best player on the court and didn't get the rock on that drive Kyrie dribbled the ball around for 20 seconds and Korver took a contested 3? Ridiculous.
|
Wow, what a choke job by the Cavs. I just wanted more playoff games to watch. Oh well
|

This is exactly how I feel. The Cavs had this one...l,l:doh: |
Exactly. Helluva player and the best of this generation, but that's how I'll always remember him when it's all said and done.
I don't think any completely objective person would put him ahead of MJ for that very reason. Nonetheless, he had an extraordinary game until then, and an extraordinary playoffs overall. It took a 73 team signing Durant to keep LeBron from another ring. Honestly wish more people could be objective about Bron, both his apologists and haters. The extremes they go to are really pathetic. You seem to be one of the few who see him for what he is -- great, but not the GOAT. |
Kevin Durant showed us what clutch looks like tonight. So nice to see a player take their game to that next level when it matters the most.
Keep trying.... |
Thompson basically became unplayable because Durant is on the floor instead of Barnes, and instead of somebody just ignoring Barnes when the Warriors go small, you need a real defender on Durant
The ref helped out by taking Green out. So, you may need that help again on Durant. |
The funny thing is, Iguodala was the best player on the Denver Nuggets when

If they resign him, they need to hope he signs for a pretty big discount, somewhere in the $6 million per season range. Then you also have to remember that he will be 34 the season Klay becomes a free agent. Maybe they find a way to bring him back on a two year deal for around $10 million a year and let him walk after. |
Great player. One I despise, but still the greatest of the generation.
Yes, from 2003-2007 Lebron was the greatest of that time period. Then a few guys named curry and Durant came along and took over that title in the 2010's. |
