:)!:)! |
His triple-double tonight should mean he gets the Top 20 record, he really needed the assists, and Dragic and Kyrie were behind him. Kyrie didn't play and Dragic only got 6 assists tonight

yeah awesome to see the triple double tonight! SHOULD have been his 3rd in the past week since he missed it twice recently by like 1 assist or rebound i think. but yes since kyrie didnt play i dont see him not making history and do see him finishing in the top 20. few days left to know the final verdict. |
and just in-case anyone missed what was probably the most ridiculous chasedown block of the year

So if Giannis played in a major city would he be in the MVP talk?
|
Nah...not this year, it's only Westbrook and Harden this year.

he already is in the mvp talk to alot of people. i have him 3rd. regardless of the city he is deserving of some votes. if westbrook and harden didnt have the crazy seasons they had he would be a top contender this year. if he does the same next year or even better and the bucks are in the top 4 teams in the east he will have a for sure shot. imo |

Personally I think he won't even finish in the top 5 because he plays in MKE and is not a mega star yet so I don't think he will get votes. |

NOT a mega star?? you do realize after tonight he will be the 1st player in nba history to finish top 20 in total points, assist, rebounds, blocks, steals and fg% right? not even jordan, lebron, kobe, wilt, anyone in the history of the nba has done that. then look at the players he plays with and without him the team would be a lottery team. is he on lebron, durant, westbrook, curry mega star level? no. but next year he will be. and when the season starts next year he will still only be 22 yrs old in his 5th nba season. he is definitely in the top 5 |

Yes someday soon but right now he's not a star power name if you mention him to James, Curry, Westbrook, Durant. I am from WI this was Giannis breakout year to the rest of the NBA. But right now to average fan if you ask if Giannis is a megastar right now at those guys I named level and you will be told no. Don't get me wrong as I said I think next 5 years Giannis will be perhaps the biggest star in the NBA but right now he just is finally getting the credit he deserves from everyone else. |

All the other guys mentioned. I most certainly would. He's just not there yet and all the fun stats in the world won't help. |
Giannis took over the game!
unstoppable! that block, those cluth 4th quarter last minute shots. i think i can see in his eyes he has finally found what it takes to lead and take over. NO ONE saw the bucks beating the raptors at home by double digits without Jabari |

That tech was a garbage call. Giannis had an incredible game. So fun to watch.
|
Just as Jalen Rose just said, he dominated offensively innevery facet of the game. Drives, fast breaks, pull up jumpers, post ups, cuts. Aaaaaaaall part of his game.
Westbrook, Harden, Lebron --> all get there numbers through ball control and usage. The Greak Freak gets his all through the offense. He doesn't have to force his will (yet), he just naturally gets it done throughout the flow of the game. |
This guy really wanted the Black Label Giannis Prizm RC.... $800 snipe didn't even top his first bid... curious to know how high he was willing to go..
