If he keeps up what he's doing it wont matter how many MVP's he has. He's on pace to be a first ballot hall of famer.

That being said. I really want this second MVP. I feel like that fluke play at first base in 2017 really cost him his second MVP that year. He was having such a good year at the point where he got hurt.

I really don't like the way Harper has been fielding ground ball base hits where he has a chance to throw someone out. He catches it flat footed instead of running in and grabbing it in full stride and throwing.

I mean it worked out this time but not sure why he's doing that this year.

It just feels like he doesn't trust himself to field and throw in one motion this year as he has in years past. Maybe it's to protect his back with his new throwing technique or he's making sure he watches the ball into his glove with 2 hands. I have no idea but it's ugly to look at.

If they can keep the lead to 3 by the final series of the season they can beat the Braves themselves. We'll see at least they are still in a race. The Padres are completely done. They have to leap frog so many teams and are 5 back and already losing 3-0 tonight.

I'm not a Phillies fan so i only want them to go to the playoffs for Bryce to get a shot to do well in post season and have a better chance at his second MVP
