So I received my delivery today. Disappointed to say the least. Many of the cards were missing the stickers. None of them were in the sealed plastic bag.all just thrown into a 500ct box with random slips of paper between some of them. Obviously none sleeved or in cases which we initially paid for and the best part was the box was not sealed or protected in any way. There was tape on the box which was already opened. Not sure if this was courtesy of UPS or Topps. Not sure if any are missing at this point. I suppose the only thing that was missing was a photocopy of Michael Rubin's middle finger. Whatever...

Just received an email regarding etopps:
Dear eTopps Community, We want to follow up on our earlier communication regarding the eTopps closure and directly address questions you may have relating to shipping and packaging. First, we sincerely apologize for any concerns this may have caused. We’ve taken your feedback seriously and have implemented changes. Moving forward:

All cards will be shipped in hard cases or top loaders.
Each package will be secured with eTopps stickers and authenticated with appropriate labels.
While these steps may extend fulfillment times, they are necessary to ensure quality. Please note that some orders may take longer to ship, though we will work to complete shipments as quickly as possible. Lastly, we’ve also heard your feedback regarding unavailable cards and the store credit process. Starting August 26, 2025, the Topps.com store credit you receive for any unavailable card will be the greater of $1.50 per card or its fair market value, as determined by Topps. If you’ve already received store credit, don’t worry — you’ll receive an additional adjustment based on this updated policy within the next 2–3 weeks. As a reminder, eTopps program will come to an end on September 30th, 2025, at which point your account will be locked. If you haven’t already, please log in to your account and close out your portfolio by September 30th, 2025. If no selection is made by that date, you will forfeit your portfolio, and store credit will be the only option available. Just out of luck? |
Good question on those that received their cards already. Also, I'd be a little worried about Topps deciding on what fair market value is for the store credit option. I'll be sure to let you know what I get for my Austin Kearns.
Glad I waited and I am much more likely to take a larger shipment now - cost is still a lot, but atleast consistent with what has been previously so not unexpected. Still amazing that they thought this was rolled out the right way. Terrible customer experience. |
I'm naturally really good at waiting until the last minute to do stuff, no idea why I was so anxious on these.
Really regret already getting these shipped, they still haven't refunded me on the overcharge of shipping by over $7000. This is after 8 emails now |

Rare ebay 1/1 no sticker variants....they will be fine. :) |

I'm scared to jump in now still. I can imagine a card being delivered in a top loader, but folded in half or with a slice of deli meat in it or something stupid. Just don't trust them to do the right thing. |

Error cards making a comeback. For etopps collectors, will there be 3 markets? Etopps before Aug 25 (stickers, enclosed, high quality) Etopps during Aug 25 (no stickers, ziploc bag only, poor quality) Etopps post Aug 25 (stickers, enclosed, mid quality) Curious what % of total population exists in each group above. Will be pleasantly surprised if quality of pre-Aug and post-Aug shipments will be similar. What happens for those that requested store credit but now want their cards shipped? |
Dear heavens! What a cluster. I already received my 15 cards but would definitely like cases and the stickers. I guess I’ll be contacting Topps.
|
Good thing all of our noise worked.
|
That’s great and maybe my phone call yesterday helped as I spent 30 minutes on the stickers alone. But seriously, they need to do something about the stickerless cards that are currently “not valid”. I’d happily send mine back to get the sticker added.
I’m so curious as to which card this is. Also I’m interested if in the future Etopps cards in the original holder will rise in value due to their scarcity and such
TJ Ford 2003 Basketball - think I'm going store credit - curious what they will claim as market value. I can't justify the shipping costs, but what is market value of a card that just had 45% of its supply removed. |
This was also in my email for those that have received their cards.
To correct our error, a separate email will provide pre-paid return labels. Returned cards will be re-packaged properly. If any cards are determined to be damaged, we will evaluate them for replacement (if inventory permits) or provide Topps.com store credit as an alternative. Additionally, we are issuing a 100% refund on shipping fees on orders that did not meet expectations, which will be applied automatically to your original payment method within 30 days. No action is required on your part. |

I’ll also send back the pick list to show the 6 bagwell cards I didn’t receive. |
Thats awesome if they are able to rectify all of this, I havent even opened the box that arrived yet since I was waiting on my refund still.
I have a couple ports I havent redeemed yet but redeemed holdings from my biggest port since I was worried the cards may be lost etc. What I didn't like was having to take the full allocation of the card in your port or nothing. Had a few cards with 100-300 holdings but would have liked to take 5-10 of them. |

I still haven't even gotten a reply to my initial email regarding being locked out of my account. I haven't had the email it was registered with in 2 decades, probably. Will have to see if this sudden change of direction prompts more CS support...
