His odds can go up but just don’t see him having much of chance this year. Maybe in the future.
I didn't say he would win. Plus people forget that this is a year long contest. Mahomes has low odds right now not because of how he's playing now but because people have seen him year after year get better as the year goes on. But just so we can compare tomorrow - Jackson - +275 Allen - +370 Mahomes +500 Goff +800 Daniels +1000 Stroud +1300 Love +1700 Burrow +1700 Murray +1800 Hurts +1800 |
It should be based on play on the field, not bets.
AR had a 32% completion rate and they barely won
Again, sharps aren't betting on what qb's have done so far. They are betting on what they think they'll do. And like it or not, it isn't often that the betting favorite doesn't win. |
Still loving Goff at +800

Jalen Hurts +2000 has entered the race now surpassing Love, Purdy and Burrow on fanduel

Glad to see Allen his some respect back on top.
If the Bills beat the Chiefs next week, I'd bet that Allen just gets in MVP then and there, because the Bills don't play the Chiefs next week, they play them November 17. Now that someone with a fully functional brain has looked at the schedule, I'll point out that Bills should have a few high profile games toward the second half of the season: -Nov 17: Chiefs -Dec 1: 49ers -Dec 15: @ Lions Lines up pretty good for him. Home, Home after bye, then the tough one in Detroit. |

Seems pretty open this year although I think Lamar wins again

I hope so because I'm HEAVILY invested. |
This is Goff's award to win. He by far has the best offensive line and weapons. If the Lions can acquire a couple pass rushers than can give 80% the production of Hutchinson, they'll make a deep run, possibly the Super Bowl. I'm taking Goff.

Why do you always instigate by bias? Clearly shows Baltimore has atrocious defense. Is Rashod Bateman a great weapon? Zay Flowers? Meh. Keon Coleman looks great. Credit to Josh. However he also has an elite defense. Baltimore does not. |

Baltimore does not.
Baltimore was 1st on defense last season and they gave it to Lamar despite average season. So your argument is invalid. Team record matters on these thing, people argued for Josh or even CMC last season but they stilk gave it to Lamar. Also Bills doesnt have wr1 until that cooper trade. pound for pound, Raven RB > Bills RB by a mile, Ravens TE > Bills TE by a mile too with Mark Andrews and Lively. Ravens WR on paper should be better than bills but I'd give it a wash. Which one elevate their offense more and which one lost to Browns and Raiders. Go figure |

Baltimore does not.
That chart only shows passing offense and defense. Ravens have the number one rushing defense in the NFL. Also, the chart is misleading because the Ravens surrendered a ridiculous amount of yards in multiple fourth quarter games which were blowouts (the scores make them look like closer games). Dallas and Tampa to be exact. I’m not arguing for Allen/Lamar just pointing out that chart is completely misleading. |

Up 28-6 vs Dallas with 10 minutes left and allowed a bunch of garbage time yards and points. Up 34-10 vs Tampa with 12 minutes left and gave up 3 Tds in garbage time. Maybe the offense didnt do their part in running out the clock! Missed FGs, turnovers and gave up TWO on-sides kicks. One each game. |

All i know is Goff is hot right now, and his help all over the offense is unmatched. Once they get Hutchinson's replacements at pass rusher, this should help Goff more. My money is on Goff.
