Nolan Jones is somehow back on the Guardians in Sapphire. Topps quality control is insanely bad. Cards are based on flagship despite being TOPPS CHROME.

I posted this in the Monty Club page but just as a counterpoint to that ridiculously awesome box with the Orange Walker/Volpe (congrats again on that rip!) here's a more realistic expectation.

I try to always post my breaks, positive or negative. With Topps Sapphire post-2019, they're almost entirely bloodbaths. This one is no different.

I thought since this was the first EQL draw topps might throw in something extra or do something special. I was wrong. I'm looking forward to my two boxes...

They did EQL for Sapphire UEFA.

Damn-This is like paying $21 for a crappy $7 burger at Disneyland. Yes, the Sapphire brand carries a premium in the singles resale world but $300? Id feel less slightly less violated if the burger were $14($200/box)

Anyone else have issues with not receiving 2 color parallels in their boxes? One box had and orange and gold and the other box just a gold.

Happened last year more times than you could count. Luck of the draw. (or unlucky in this case)

Happened to me last year with Garbage Pail, a few boxes in my case only had 1 parallel. Topps sent replacements after filling out the forms. Just curious if people have seen this as a bigger problem like it has been with other releases.

What's the base print run this year?

You might have an image variation or Sapphire select insert instead of the parallel.

Odds still haven't been released so we have no way of knowing. The checklist also doesn't indicate which cards have image variations.

I don't have my hands on the product but I'm assuming there's just a disclaimer on the box that the pack odds are available on the Topps website.

No odds on boxes or packs. Checklist doesn't really shed much of a light on any of this. And if you check out the image variations listed/sold on eBay, it's a pretty scattershot group of players with IVs.

Best card in the break. Any one see the damage? LOL. Sending back to Topps for replacement. By the time I get the card back it will be worth a lot less. Thanks Topps.

I've updated the list of Image Variations that I've seen on Ebay. There have been 18 Strider IVs listed/sold and none of his actual Sapphire base.

Beginning to think all of these guys ^^^ got an alternate image instead of image variation (which would imply some sort of scarcity). If anything, it certainly appears that there are no SPd IVs.
