Why so little info?

I reached out to one of the big three and they stated they were only allocated for their retail location and were unsure if they would list any on their site.

this should just be the mini version of the regular release.

throw in a couple parallels to keep the addicts addicting, and call it a day.

not a big deal. no need for autos or shiny cards

I think people need to see that whatever was done historically on new releases no longer applies, everything is day to day now in Fanatics world.

Pre-sales and such are gone, its order from Topps at full MSRP or try your luck with a breaker. Or head to your LCS on release day and hope to grab a box.

I've been able to preorder two cases so far. All of these shops selling online have sold out.

Edit, i see one place still offering but they're $70 + tax

I just don't see it. Taking an unpopular product in Heritage and combining it with an unpopular variant in minis doesn't seem like a winner. And I'm someone who does like minis. FOMO is a hell of a drug though.

I think there are shops that have received lots of the product and this is an observations of some of the breaks of the product.

I don't think some people know the impact 1975 Topps Mini had in the hobby. It's the grandfather of all Mini sets.

I agree that it may not be as popular as it was when they were still in the 50s, but I think you are underestimating the amount of people who are still interested in it.

I think the mini part of it hurts more than the Heritage brand, but I'm still excited for it for nostalgia reasons and plan on buying a decent amount.

I think everyone who buys this because they want it will be very happy with the product at $50. I'll be picking some up. If the 3 or 4 autos per 10 box case part above is true (which would be the most surprising thing Topps has done in ages), I'm in for a case.

What about the people in the middle? They have to exist right? What other product besides flagship can a player break of 100 cases happen?

Two different shops told me they were offered a single case direct from Topps. As in, One. Depending on how bot warfare goes tomorrow, I doubt “cases” or even “a case” are a realistic option in a general sense. My LCS declined to pre-sell me a box as they never pre-sell anything, but promised to keep one for me. It’s good to be a regular.

Topps has a huge range of customers from Fortune 500 corporations to single collectors. This looks, to me, to be a simple small batch product for enthusiasts. i.e. what a Hobby is all about. Not everything they do is a massive campaign with a Social Media blitz, etc. But then for every single they do, someone will complain about it regardless.

The George Brett auto seller has 4 pink 1/1s listed. At the 16k box estimate, they probably opened between 8 and 12 cases.
