Who has the best prices on these for sale right now? Non of my LCS's got any, they are all excited about getting the breakers delight boxes of the Chrome U.

Got back into the hobby this past year (after collecting a bit as a kid). Seems to me you’re lucky if you’re into collecting college football since BUC is the best rip for a reasonable price. I suppose if Prizm NFL were $150 a box that could be fun as well. I’ve enjoyed reading about the BUC enthusiasm on this board.

Football and light basketball guy, so I haven't seen much Bowman or any Topps in a long time for obvious reasons. I loved BUC and hate this. These cards are hideous. Is the Sapphire release generally a big deal in the baseball world?

Sapphire is kind of the 1.5x of regular Bowman Chrome. A juicy bonus, and the numbered hits usually have a lot of value. Bowman baseball card designs have also been [URL="https://sportscardinvestor.s3.amazonaws.com/prod/5528_380_187_48-L"]better designed to adopt the Sapphire look[/URL] vs the BUC card design this year. It'll get better as they adapt BUC and put more in to the design.

One of the issues too is how cards are valued. In Baseball/Bowman, a base Sapphire card is great and a numbered sapphire card is thought to be quite valuable as-is, but Football cards are currently ruled mostly by Autos and QBs. I'm not sure if both prospecting and Sapphire can catch on in football collecting based on how people value the cards.

Between the big 3 sports this release has been my personal favorite of this year with bowman chrome baseball sapphire right behind (didn’t buy regular BCU). I love these cards - coming from baseball sapphire is what I wait for generally. Just such a narrow spectrum for value in football (QB’s for the most part).
