Jawa Sandcrawler stadium is so nice that the dump needs $280 million put into it to upgrade it over the next 10 years and $48 million of that is right away. Stadium is only 7 years old. If it burned to the ground it might be the best thing as maybe they could use insurance money to build it right a 2nd time.
Its like changing the oil on your Ferrari. Its not as cheap as doing it on your old Chevy. But thats not to say the Chevy is nicer, just that maintance on the Ferrari is higher. And I quote "U.S. Bank Stadium is one of the top stadiums in the NFL, but it's not going to be cheap to keep it that way. Though the stadium is in "very good shape" overall" https://www.si.com/fannation/bringmethesports/vikings/report-u-s-bank-stadium-will-need-280-million-in-maintenance-over-the-next-decade Stop hating! |
I know this wasn't the point, but I'd actually be pretty shocked if the Panthers pick ends up top five next year. A big upgrade to the coaching staff, more weapons offensively, a worse division, and a presumed upgrade at QB because they couldn't get any worse. Probably ends up top twelve, but I'd guess closer to twelve than five. Tell me more about this NFC Championship game in 2011? :D
The Panthers are blowing up their team. They are obviously taking a QB with the #1 pick. And will be riding Andy Dalton while they develop him. Saints are winning the NFC South this season. Panthers are attempting a build to be better going forward. Not immediately. The Chiefs are +500 to win the SB. The Panthers are +5,000, huddle close in odds with the Commanders, Seahawks and Titans. The 3 biggest dogs are the Cardinals, Colts and Texans. Fair to say their pick will most likely be top 10 then? And in 2011 (2010 season), the Packers got to beat the Steelers instead of the Bears. The Packer Backers thought that was the first of many SB's wins for Rodgers. And yet, here we are! |

I just don't know what all is involved with maintaining a glass structure of this size, that is set in a Midwestern climate. I was just pointing out, that anyone who thought that 1/4 BIL meant the stadium somehow sucked, was just being silly. Thats a great facility! |

The Chicago Collective voted to let him in. Unless there was push back from the Detroit/Minnesota/Green Bay delegates? |

I reserve only a tiebreaker vote if necessary. Seems like one no from Vikes (DTMB). No word from any Packer-backers. |

I just heard back from the Fudge Packer fans. They said Boo was good! And sent me this picture of themselves, after taking the vote. |

It's fun to pretend to adjudicate your fate. DTMB seems angrier than ever lately. |

Someone should smashangle the 3-sided polygon and get the FA thread merged into the NFC North thread. They very clearly share the same DNA.
