Someone retracted a $20,000 bid.

If I want a T206 Wagner, perhaps I should start playing Powerball again.
He'd be nice to have, but my biggest passion of collecting comes from the Golden Age. Although, I'll admit, with this all-time redraft, I'm enthused to start getting into collecting tobacco cards from the Deadball Era. |
None of this has made any sense since the beginning. Why start now?
Exactly.
1. He says no returns 2. Spends all the money 3. Finds out that offering returns is mandatory 4. Buyer requests return when he finds out it is fake 5. Jason goes broke
If someone really wanted to be a dick, they could use the full 65 days before filing a claim  What are the odds he bolts from both eBay and Paypal after this is over (I mean if someone is stupid enough to pay him for it). |

I also heard that on here but I don't know if it's a rumor or fact. |
Ebay stores completed items in search for 90 days, and he listed his card for sale about 95 days after he bought it. I don't believe that is a coincidence.
|
hmmm...def. popcorn time for this one! Serious question: If someone does win a pricey listing, and files a return, say, 159 days later ... what happens if the seller just shuts his paypal and bank account down before that happens?

Auction listing hasn't purged out, yet. PayPal will sue you in a heart beat. I had a buddy who did a tour over seas and someone returned a old radio. He thought he was going to die so he closed everything down and had his checks deposited in his mom's checking account. PayPal got a court order to freeze everything and his mom almost lost everything. The courts wouldn't even accept his deployment papers. He was in Germany and had a no contact order outside the base. It took him 8 mths to clear everything up when he got home. |

The popcorn has been out for a few months on this one with the occasional delay for a refill. |
And it's been removed from EBay.
|
10 bucks says he claims he sold it to a pvt buyer, and that will be the end of his troll
|
Well....it appears that the fun may be about over. Hopefully when eBay sent him the cancellation notice, they also sent him the numbers for some local psychiatric help.....and elementary school grammar teachers.

CONFIRMED Ebay removed it for being a reprint and NOT BEING LISTED AS SUCH..I just spoke to my contact at ebay.
But Mr Mars said ebay authenticated it (or put him in touch with the authenticators or whatever the hell he said lol) ... I mean he had a picture outside the headquarters HOW COULD THIS BE. He said ebay got him in touch with the guys who authenticated it...And another lie goes POOF But its ok. He said it was authenticated. All he has to do is contact evay and let them know who not breaking his contract and relist it...RIGHT???? lmao HAHAHAH |
OK, so I saw he posted a few hours ago and it has over 250 comments already! haha
Anyway, I'm still basking in the glow of the Seahawks win tonight so I decided to read/skim the comments. It sounds like on February 24th he has a 1 hour special on CBS and during this interview is when he will be selling the card. Guess I don't have to tune back in until then... |
He relisted it now. How long until eBay boots their new poster boy completely?

The one bought on eBay in September. This is the card that has been on the news worldwide and newspapers!!! Amazing card!!!!! You are also bidding on the history of this card |
So why is he marketing the card as famous and seen on TV?
Oh that's right. Because he knows its effing fake. I'd like to punch this guy. |
He realizes his ride is over. He's just reaching for those last few comments. Sad that someone is that starved for attention.
|
this is just so sad at this point…. can we please just let it be already the guy is just so pathetic. I almost feel bad for the poor idiot now
