For context and our collective information regarding current market value, I have one of the BGS 9.5 Diamonds up on eBay (for $9,999) and have received offers from two different buyers of $7,000 and an offer of $7,250 from another buyer. Tough not to take it, but I don't NEED the coin, the eBay fees hurt, and as crazy as it sounds... I think I'd be leaving money on the table. And at the end of the day, I just love the card!

My best buddy from High School just got into the game (like a wrecking ball — he sold his Shark Tank backed business recently and got back into cards out of nostalgia and a dearth of satisfying gambling options in quarantine... I have a post I wrote a while ago on this topic fueling growth in the hobby/market and just never posted it. I might just do that now). Anyway, he hit this absolutely NASTY Trout Logoman a week or so ago in a break and asked me to help broker a sale since his eBay account is new and he'd rather target some players with more potential to pop (I'm still trying to get him into some early Trout). Anyway, I don't think he's on the boards here, but was able to connect with @MurkCity Sports on IG for what I think was a great deal all around. Great communication and transaction — give him a follow and tell him CoachBruno sent ya!

I would hold if you don’t need the $$$. It is one of my favorite Trout cards.

Damn, you guys are rolling out the heat today! Nice cards.

And to Shadow- I think the basketball market has really gone through the roof- that is the only explanation. Kobe is one of the keys to the modern era- hence the jump into his cards. Otherwise, I have no idea. As an aside the Topps Chrome frightens me to pay any level for it given the greening. What will that look like in 10 years. 20?

Great cards Reggie! The 2009 Tristar Auto is a dream card of mine. Probably not what most people would pick first, but I would. I do have a 2010 Tristar Pursuit Trout Auto /80 with a 2009 Sticker Auto on it. I love to get a player's first Auto since they change so much over time. Go Fish!!

Thanks! Yes, I love his TriStar because it seems to be Trout’s most early autograph. He spelled out his name more. :)

TG+ just sold on myslabs for $7300 and they take less fees.

What are your grades?

2011 eTopps BGS 8 listed yesterday for $1,500 and the listing was pulled today. Maybe did an offline deal but they are rare

I've had my PSA 10 on eBay for nearly 2 weeks. One, horrendously low, offer received. Two messages, without any follow up offer(s). Nearly 500 views, 15 watchers at the moment... and it just sits, with no serious players so far!

I won't be shocked if I go the full 30 days of the initial listing without selling, at which point, I'll probably just continue to keep it! I've owned it for over 7 years now, won't bother me to keep it for another 7. Pretty much just listed to test the strength of the market anyway!
