Love is playing horrible right now I won't deny that. If GB gets to 5 wins at this point it might be the best to expect. |

After seeing him play in the first couple games this year, I was worried Green bay was going 3 for 3 with HOF caliber QBs. While he didnt throw all that much, he was on point VS the Bears and Falcons, with a near perfect passing rating and 6 TDs to 0 INTs Since then, its 4 TD to 7 INTs. A horrible showing versus the same Raiders the garbage Bears just dismantled. And a Justin Fields type showing VS the Lions and the Saints. He played OK VS the trash Broncos, but 2 TD 1 INT and 180 yards in a loss isn't going to cut it. What do you do if this is the Jordan Love you have? Play him for 3 years, just to see if he snaps out of it? Thats what the Bears did with Mitch, and now Fields, and it isnt working too well. |
Tyson Bagent recorded the third-highest completion percentage by an undrafted rookie quarterback making his first career start.
The most obscure "fact" I pulled from all the Bagent articles the Chicago media is kicking out now |

Maybe him and Clifford split reps? I wasn’t high on love at Utah state, average at best in college. He misses open receivers and doesn’t go through his progressions well. The latter could be from the oline in shambles though. I don’t see value in him long term. Think Brett Huntley. I see 1-2 more wins at most outta them. We all expected this though. Clifford might deserve a look late in the season though. |
Does Bagent even have a rookie card???

If Love is going to get better he needs snaps. Clifford is not a guy who will ever start. Would be a waste giving him snaps. Questionable if he's even serviceable as a backup. |

With what the Coach/GM went thru during that draft and the criticism over the selection afterwards for not giving Rodgers more help. Love is definitely going to get more than 8-10 games to prove himself. |

Almost 500 cards posted on ebay. Prizim, Select, Score, Wild card garbage etc. Mind you, most 2023 sets havent released yet. So he has some, with plenty more to come. Clifford, the guy who played eight years at PSU, Clifford? Nah, he isn't worth investing snaps into. You give Love a full runway and evaluation. Packers need to know if he is the guy or do they draft another. |

This is somewhat of a lost year. They have the youngest team in the NFL, a first time starting qb, lost Bahktiari for the year, and have played without many key starters..... Jaire Alexander, Aaron Jones, Watson, Savage, Cambell, Wyatt, etc due to injuries. They are paying 25% of their cap to players not on the team so they couldnt have added any veteran free agents. That goes away at the end of the year. So play it out, see how the young kids progress and evaluate it at the end of the year and restock. You may even give Love a 2nd year as he has shown some promise in the first couple games. |

I agree. But the thing is with Love, he is only under contract through next season. So the clock is ticking some, with what the Pack want to do at the most important position in sports. Do they risk their 1st round pick next year, and take a QB is Love is shaky? They dont have much invested in him. 2024 draft could have 5 QBs taken in the 1st round. And if the Pack only win 5 or 6 games, they could be in a good position to take a decent one. |

Need not worry about a QB. GB needs to get a LT. The guy they got right now sucks and how he's playing won't shock me if he gets Love hurt. |

Did you watch Clifford at PSU? |

Did you watch love at Utah state? One was better than the other. Clifford isn’t great by any stretch. But love just ain’t it. More reps, more games, only show the inevitable about love. Maybe Clifford surprises? Maybe not but late in the season it can’t hurt to “see what you have.” |

I understand that and agree to an extent. I don’t know if love will “get better.” I mean we had Brett Huntley a few years ago and that was a joke of a pick that played via injuries. I’m not draft expert but some of these qbs we drafted since 2004 were projects to be back ups at best. Minus Arod. I see love as a back up at best in the league. Green Bay should have a top 5 pick this year so if…if…we get him a boba fire WR, Harrison JR, maybe that could help? There is needs everywhere but Christian “often injured” Watson maybe never play more than 12 games a season. I’m not upset we r awful, it was a given and transition year. I hope he succeeds but I just don’t see it. Sorry this is long |

This is pretty predictable ... if there is no improvement ...
Year 1 - excuse year (injuries, youth) ... sign a 1 year extension $25M so he does not enter a lame duck campaign in '24, draft LT and sign a few veterans Year 2 - blame coaching (coordinators, head coach, heads roll if they are not improved) no extension and a 25-100 pick used on QB, not a real threat day one to start but a warning and the beginning of a plan Year 3 - expose and mitigate ("game plan to strength" talk about ceiling, execution, etc ... new offense will either expose lack of talent or show true value) draft early 1st Rd QB and hand over the reigns, use previous year top 100 pick as veiled competition but long-term plan is in place One could argue that with sitting for a few years you can expedite or condense years 1 and 2 but this is how this situation plays out WITHOUT significant improvement from what we've seen. |
