Disagree. They created a competitive team. It wasn't like Bosh and Wade were doing great on their own once Lebron joined up. Not even close to the same comparison. Your point therefore is weaker.
Wade won a ring a few years prior, so I think he was doing ok |

Wade's 06 finals was better than anything Lebron or KD has done but it will be forgotten too |

5 seasons before Lebron joined. They were not good when he joined them. Had a 15 win season and didn't win a single playoff series in the east. That's not ok. |

The Heat were competitive before LeBron and Bosh got there. They were 47-35 that season and it was pretty much all because of Wade. Their next best player was probably Michael Beasley or Jermaine O'Neal. Wade finished 5th in MVP voting that year and was 2nd in PER. The Heat then add LeBron the MVP who finished 1st in PER, and Bosh an All-Star who finished 4th in PER. So basically a team that won 47 games and had a top 5 player added the best player in the game along with another player who was arguably in the top 10. I don't think this was all that different than what the Warriors did with Durant. |

They hadn't won a playoff series in 4 years before Lebron got there. That's not the competetive I'm talking about |

That doesn't matter. When this new Heat team was formed everyone knew they were the best team in the league. That's why they made that stupid video where they were talking about how many rings they were going to win. And back then LeBron was criticized for joining up with Wade and Bosh just as Durant has been criticized for joining the Warriors. The two situations are not identical, but I think they're more relatable than you believe. |

Not at all. They were 2-2 in the finals, went to couple game 7s in the East in some really fun matchups. The warriors average victory this playoffs is over 16 points. Not even close to comparable to joining a team that was up 3-1 in the finals the season before and won 73 games. I don't mind superstars that aren't winning trying to move around to create championship level competitive teams, but when you already join a championship team, it creates a team like the Warriors who are making this playoffs one of the least entertaining playoffs in years. Heck, even Jerry West who is an exec on the Warriors says this is not a good product for the fans because of how noncompetitive it is. Lebron never did that. |
Not sure if this has been shown yet. (sorry if it has)
Curry fanboys losing their minds when he 'beat' LeBron to the layup... Have a watch.. notice anything wrong? https://www.facebook.com/nba/videos/10155234793613463/ Yeah.. you're actually not allowed to stop your dribble with two hands and then dribble it again. That'll be a turnover thanks. SMDH - friggin refs!!! |
Warriors is just too much for any team to handle. They could easily win three straight titles. It is going to be so sad to see Lebron finish his career with only three titles. He deserves more.

I don't think anyone should be feeling sorry for LeBron. He's had about as good a luck you can get being in the East, especially since 2010. He's also made his own bed by forcing management to sign his boys to big contracts. In saying that, it's not over for LeBron. |
So funny watching the Lebron fan boyz cry over Lebron's hand picked roster not being good enough to beat a team that drafted well.
Warriors drafted durant?? Weird |
Have to love all the Lebron crybabies in this thread...one in particular. :coffee::coffee::coffee:
First time I've ever heard the commentators call out the refs multiple times, especially in the finals. Imagine if the refs called it true, the Cavs would have shot twice as many free throws in game one. Tonight wasn't as bad, but sure hurts when you're making a run, refs miss a call and the other team hits a 3. That's a 5 point swing in seconds. Lebron and love were hacked every time around the rim, the Cavs breathe on curry and he's at the line.
The refs have been awful ALL postseason but they didnt do anything out of the ordinary in these 2 games. Lebron almost outshooting the Warriors in game 1 was pretty interesting |

Lebron, Kyrie, Curry, KD....EVERYONE does it. |
I wonder if the Lebronies who are complaining about the refs realize that LeBron would foul out by the end of the first quarter nearly every game if the refs called games true...

No, and not only that but they can't envision a world where he doesn't do everything the best and is perfect all the time. They won games 5, 6, and 7 last year and if you listen to them talk you'd think he has 8 titles and a 32-10 finals record. Nope that's actually 3 titles and a 17-25 record. Zero Dark Thirty Lebron Playoff Lebron Remember last year 3-1, 3-1, 3-1 They have one thing to hang their hat on and act like that's who he's been for 14 years, someone with an indomitable will that you can't beat unless you kill him dead and NOT...... Someone who quits when the going is tough and is ready to jump ship at all times. |

When you challenge W fans, they'll use ratings too lol. Lebron should just come on over to the Spurs..:)!...Warriors should be where they are at with the talent they have so why not just throw a couple more weights on the other side of the scale? |
If the Cavs lose this series, they will be 1-3 lifetime in the Finals. And Steph Curry will have only one less ring (2) than Lebron (3). Also, the Warriors will have five (5) championships compared to only one (1) for the Cavaliers.

Everyone just needs to understand that the NBA doesn't care about defense, traveling, double dribbling, carrying and all basics taught to kids. Nothing will change. Happy the 1st half was enjoyable to watch minus defense. Congrats GS fans

Lot's of saltiness and complaining here: Mostly from Cavs fans...
I could care less KD went to Golden State---I don't care he went to a 73 win team. Maybe he just was tired of OKC and wanted out. I have no problem with him wanting to better his life. Yet, people keep bringing this up. KD could care less what you all think. As I said before: Last year the Cavs were blown out in Games 1 & 2, then BLEW OUT GS in game 3 in Cleveland by 30. If they lose game 3, then the series is over. I realize these are not the same teams/players as last year. For those saying Lebron is not that great: You are crazy. He is easily top 5 all-time. He has been to 7 straight finals. That is an incredible accomplishment. It's not his fault the east is weak, he can't pick his opponents. (the hate he gets reminds me of the hate for Tom Brady) Lebron also cannot make Kyrie shoot better or make J.R Smith play half decent defense, or make Tristan Thompson actually pull down a rebound or two. You may now commence complaining about KD, the refs, Curry, Lebron etc.... |
Real winner of the finals..
NIKE!!! They are being represented on both sides with superstars. Durant wins and gets the finals MVP that's another line of Shoes - Shirts combo they can press out. |
