If I see a raw card that looks good, I look at the seller's other items for sale and sold items. If they sell mostly graded cards, I stay away because that usually means it wasn't worth grading. If they sell mostly raw cards, I usually give them a shot.
This is why I don’t sell graded on eBay :) |

I sell both, but I normally am too lazy/don't want to wait to get graded stuff back. So if someone sees a raw card that I have that looks good, they are going to reap the reward of grading it themselves. |

Just from my own way i sell this is flawed. I buy graded to invest and i open a ton of repack products from Break King and Leaf. So I have a lot of graded cards for sale. I rip a ton of wax. I have never once submitted a card for grading and sell raw all the time. I know I have had a lot of happy buyers who buy raw from me. |
Anyone else surprised that the poorly listed 2018 TCU auto has been sitting on eBay for $4,200 this long? I get that it’s raw with some red flags. Wasn’t planning on making a move for it but if I get a $4,200 stimulus check it would be like getting it free.

**The Perennial JUAN SOTO Thread!**
If you don’t have one, this may be a $650ish “shot” ?
$255 with an hour 30 left... Not my card. https://www.ebay.com/itm/313439808482 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Obviously I’m biased because I pulled it myself... But this one is my favorite Soto card in my collection! I’d wager it’s a 2k PSA10 now that the first sold for just shy of $1,800 |
THANKS NCWolf for the latest PJ Soto addition :D:D:D

I’m predicting $850ish.. Pretty comparable to a raw HMT55 pink as it stands today. |
I didn't even know but apparently you have to go to the resolutions center and fill out some information about the transaction, which I just did. It should be resolved soon. Thanks again

I guess with the PSA price jump there is a premium on already graded product at the moment. $700 is still a pretty hefty sum compared to where we were just a couple months ago! |

Just not enough meat on the bone at $700 for the amount of risk. $700 + 8% tax for me would be like $750, $300 to grade, if it sells for $1,800 you'd pay about $250 in fees and shipping which leaves you with $500 IF you get a 10. If you get a 9 or worse you're out the $300 and the reselling fees. Cards in this range are going to become tougher to flip. |

Yeah, will be interesting to see how the PSA price hike will affect the market. Will the PSA 10 base cards command a premium since less people will be willing to stomach the high fees = lower pops (relatively)? I still think PSA should have hired more people so they could actually hit their stated turn around times and/or LOWERED prices to drive the stake into BGS and then they'd be able to basically run the show. |

I was $48 dollas off. Maybe the slow start was perfect timing for the buyer...nice card. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

People are still going to submit the key rookies but at the $25 level because the $100 level doesn't make sense. So it will take months before the base 10's start hitting the market but it will be the same flood of them once they come. |
