👀 one just went for $36 + shipping on the bay. Let’s see where the trend goes
Yea that didnt make any sense and I dont trust it. There are still plenty for $25/OBO including the ones I just pulled from my listings. I think I might hold everything that isn’t Bowman. |
A quantity listing on eBay @$21ea for the 392.....thats why the $36 is BS. Still over 10 left.

You think the Bowman paper 18s have any potential? I bought a BUNCH of them for a buck each in July. |
Don't get me wrong this kid is a frickin beast...
but let me know everyones thoughts on the following: Luis Robert 2018 first bowman paper RC #BP21 PSA 10 last 3 sales: $201, $280, $250 Ronald Acuna Jr 2017 first bowman paper RC #BP127 PSA 10 last 3 sales: $105 (best offer was taken), $100, $110 (best offer was taken) I don't know a lot about baseball, but from what I heard Acuna is a frickin beast and has played very well his first 2 1/2 years... Do these prices matchup, or is Robert projected to be the next Mike Trout? LMK your guys thoughts
Acuna - not doing much this year Robert - doing much Conclusion- buy juan soto |
I was very pleased to have an offer accepted for a 60 Chrome @ $28.95 shipped around an hour ago.

At this point it appears the S2 paper is extremely edge sensitive. This means its all about the pop report by next year. If the S2 cant pass 9.5’s on the norm then it will be more desirable. The 18 Bowman’s are sharp...thats the only thing I think that separates the 2 is graded vs raw. But you paid $1 thats a score! Who would have sent in Bowman paper before 3 months ago? Im sure alot more will be popping soon on bulk submission returns for PSA. Im not sure how backed they are but BGS non-sub (which suck) are popping everywhere paper & chrome. |

Best of Luis Robert :D. |
Safe to say he’s passed Lewis for ROY? I know Lewis still leads him in a few key stats, but Robert seems to have a certain “wow” factor that no other rookie has this year.

So my guess is mostly less sophisticated buyers are onto Lus Robert right now. They’ve been buying pet rocks... and just don’t realize it, yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Lewis’ BABIP seems unsustainable, and Robert has been stronger on defense. Feels like it’s Robert’s to lose, in my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I buy them, too, mostly because they are so cheap Think I got this #/25 for $40 this spring... compare that to $7k for the autograph version... yes please!!! But I am fully aware it is just a fun PC item because most other collectors don’t care Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Admittedly I haven’t watched much of Kyle Lewis other than a few highlights, but if you get the pleasure of watching Robert, it’s hard for me to believe there is another rookie better than him. I’d go as far to say he’s one of the 10 best position players in baseball (based on performance this year).
What’s apparent with LuRob is, he is talented, but is still SOOO raw. There is more upside here, and as he becomes a more refined hitter (already signs of positive adjustments), he’s going to be very very dangerous. Defensively, he’s already near elite. If he closes some of the holes in his approach - watch out. Glad he plays for my team! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
He was at his best hitting leadoff, batting 6th and 7th in the order he's .257/.295/.600 K rate of 29.2% which is good to see below 30% and a 5.3% BB rate. Right now its neck and neck between him and Lewis for ROY.
|
Wow he leads mlb in swinging strike %. His future will depend solely on his ability to lay off outside pitches, 3rd highest swing rate.
|
4 K’s in his last 31 PA. He’s trending in the right direction.

Over his last 9 games (35 PA), he has only 5 strike outs and 3 walks. Need to dig for some splits on the swing and swinging strike %'s, but even without those, his approach has very apparently improved dramatically ever since the Darvish game. If he can keep his k rate below even 25%, we're talking elite. If he can get it below 20%, we're talking unstoppable force. |

Over last 9 games his swing % was 60.1%... and swinging strikes were 16.1% Prior to these 9 games his swing % was 60.7% and swinging strikes 26.8% His contact rate went from 55.9% to 73.3% Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
