Can't comment on the jersey, but this is an IP auto. He had to have held it.

There is a musium near me for sports that has a lot of stuff in it. (even a bat Jackie Robinson used) but they have a entire display case just for Mike Trout Here is a base from when he hit a triple in Philly here:

When Aaron Cox died last summer, I did a lot of reading about him and Mike...and I found an article from the local Millville paper stating that Mike’s HS jersey (#1) was being passed down to one senior each year, and how Aaron was that senior in 2012. There was a comment in that article where Mike mentioned that he only had one jersey to pass down because one was on display at the school, and he gave another to a card company to cut up for baseball cards. One of the Millville jerseys is orange, with “Millville” in blue/white script across the front. That is the jersey that was used for these cards.

Should have saved it - and will keep looking for it. Would be nice to have that “proof”

Not likely he could return them all since they are graded and asking for a large amount of returns would raise a red flag.

I’m sure there are people with huge stashes of these. There are 3843 of them.

More likely it’s somebody with a number of parallels. If a base is $650, a diamond at $1900 is a steal.

Incorrect, there was more than 3. The Panini card was a mesh warmup jersey, not an actual gamer. The orange jersey you're referencing is a different material, similar to the one sold in Goldin a few years back. Still a player used HS relic card nonetheless.

Again, these prices are 20% or more what they were just two weeks ago. It’s manipulation.
