I almost called out “bereavement” at work when Ichiro was traded. My wife got me tickets to the next game so I can see it for myself. I just about cried when I saw Ichiro in a Yankees uniform. :(

Just completed this rainbow and thought I’d share.
2016 Topps Now Ichiro 3,000 Hits Game Used Base Relic.

I was lucky enough (fast enough) to grab the 1/1 when it first came out from Topps.com, along with #/99 and #/10.
I never really felt the need to complete a rainbow afterwards, but few weeks ago on PWCC auction, bunch of rare Topps Now autos and relics came up, and there I found my missing parallels of #/49 and #/25 (which were already graded by BGS).
I went for it, and here is the result.
After 4 years of the card’s initial release, I have completed the rainbow.

I believe it’s a Stephen Holland original. Only thing that’s ever come up was a tiny photo of it in a library on his website and I’m pretty sure it’s the only one that exists. I may eventually take it to an art appraiser to get more information but for now, it will stay on my wall lol.

That's awesome that you have the 1/1. I only have a /49 myself. Really wish it was an auto relic since I was at the game myself. Hope I can meet him one day to get it signed.
