Riley, Flowers, Teheran and what prospects gets you JTR? One of allard/gohara/fried and one of wentz/mueller/beck/tarnok and a wild card like Braxton Davidson or Travis demirrite ? 6 for 1 get it done? Something like 28 years of control.
And, yes, I know Teheran has no trade value but my god does Miami need SPs and no FA is going there and they aren’t overpaying in order to get one. This gives them 2 players for now and 4 for the future. Also don’t see any good fits for the Braves to take on salary to lessen the load. Prado, Castro and Chen make to much and don’t fit anywhere.
Maybe if they were trading for JTR and Yelich, would that type of offer make sense. |
Now Bowman is saying Braves are no longer pursing Realmuto.

fake rumor to push value |
Now Bowman is saying Braves are no longer pursing Realmuto.
F the marlins and their ridiculous asking price for Realmuto. So glad the Mets moved on, and signed Ramos. Love that move. Hopefully the Braves and everyone else moves on also. I'm guessing JT is still on the Marlins roster on Opening Day, or that the Marlins wind up getting wayyy less because they were unreasonable in their demands and lost their suitors. |
Aaron Judge is at the Rams vs Eagles game. Sorry Judgeheads, when he's a FA he's signing with the Dodgers or Phillies

What if Judge and Trout were on the same team |

Thought he was a Redsox fan before he was drafted??? |
• Several rival executives believe the Yankees want to trade third baseman Miguel Andujar. (Ken Rosenthal, The Athletic)
• The Pirates and Yankees are considered potential landing spots for free-agent shorstop Troy Tulowitzki. (Ken Rosenthal, The Athletic) |

Sounds like the Astros are getting really close to signing Brantley! Rumored 2 years, $32ish million
|
Tucker is going to be a Marlin very soon with the Brantley signing.
|
I'm a big Michael Brantley fan. I know as a Yankee fan that's odd, but I am just a fan of his. I hate him signing with the Astros, due to not liking that team...... oh well
|
the brantley deal makes the mccutchen deal look AWFUL.

Brantley is a nice addition for the Astros. He is a very solid player.

Don’t agree with this. Brantley have never been able to stayed healthy throughout his career. Cutch complete opposite. Looked at his stats. Played more than I expected aside from 16-17 season. |

Like the Brantley signing. He'll play LF,1B, and DH. Apparently also in talks with Nelson Cruz. But not sure if that's based on Reddick getting traded.

Supposedly the Cubs and Daniel Descalso have reached an agreement, no details yet

He showed that he is back last year. I think this is a solid deal. |

Thank God. Keeps the Cardinals from being dumb and bringing him back. |

Not a bad under-the-radar deal. Really no harm for as cheap as the deal is. Had a little pop last year, gets on base OK, multiple position eligibility, & veteran presence. Not terrible. |
Matt Harvey to the Angels. 1 year, $11 million

Vomit. Poor Trout. Why can't they put talent around him before he leaves? |
