By the way, aside from looking at how light reflects off the crowd in the background, is there another way to distinguish the refractor from the base?

I was thinking in the same ballpark and offered $750. The seller countered at $1,899.00 and I declined and did not submit additional offers. I suspect they are wanting $1,500+ for this card.

I'd point out psa 10 just sold for $1000 but I doubt that would make a difference to him.

So for a card of this value... the difference between a BGS 9.5 and a PSA 10 is roughly $500 dollars?

I'm going to sell off a bunch of unwanted sticker autos/etc, and should have approx $2K to dump into a Trout rookie.

I already have a base update PSA 10 and a diamond update PSA 10. Removing those 2, what rookie would you get with that budget? Or more than 1 if lower?
