I'll still take Mahomes
yeah you always take mahomes every year, I'm sure it works out great

I just placed a bet on Burrow at 35-1. I feel like he always starts slow but I could see that offense start to put up some big numbers.

You had me til “per Mike Florio”.

majestik101 10-04-2024 11:55 AM

Mike Florio is an ignoranus

You may as well say "per Dan Orlovsky"

Mike Florio forces his way into talking about the NFL when no one wants him around the NFL. Florio needs a clear bag from a sporting goods store.

Absolutely rekt.

Orlovsky and Barstoolies inhabit the same eighth circle of take hell in my book.

tjforce 10-04-2024 01:45 PM

Hey, I agree with Florio here... Kirk Cousins should be in the conversation.

Along with about 25 other guys because it's only week 5 and we have the vast majority of the football season to play.

Remember, a year ago at this time it was "Tua's to lose!"

My fingers are burning typing this, but Baker has looked really good. I think to this point, he belongs in the conversation, although the Bucs record and the couple mistakes Baker made hurt him.

To me, it was clearly Josh Allen up till this past week. Cousins creeping up and dare I say Sam Darnold?? That is a shocker.

Also, Jayden Daniels- 82% completion % wow

The MVP award, er QB award? There is a player who is on track to do something major that nobody has ever done in the NFL in its entire history. Longshot, yes, but Derrick Henry is on track for his 2nd season with 2,000 yards.

Good point, but outside of him, no NON-QB is doing anything really noteworthy.

if CMC couldn't win it last year then no way Derrick Henry win it this year, plain and simple

Sibs commented that you gave Baker Mayfield a compliment but by qualifying it with the Bucs record and a few mistakes that Baker committed it became more of a backhanded compliment or an "almost compliment".

Well how often does someone on a 500 team get the MVP? Just keeping it real

Lamar Jackson!

Get him at +1000 while you can!

Likelys foot was millimeter from being 3-1 and Lamar leading the mvp race. At seasons end I think he wins his 3rd mvp in 5 years! Thank me later!

Outside Lamar if i had to taking flyer on anyone else Stroud +1000 or Jayden Daniels +5000 seem like great value

Voter fatigue is a real thing, you really think Lamar will get it with just this kind of stats? While being on a .500 team? Highly doubtful. and foot was milimeter from being 3-1 (not 4-1 duh) is a stretch when they still need to convert their 2pts (which is 50% at best). So yeah, just because he looked good last game vs bills doesnt mean he will win it. Not a good pick for +1000

I’ve been on Lamar‘s MVP since he was 0-2 and +1500…. he’s been arguably the most dominant quarterback in football in the regular season for years now.

He won the MVP last year and has a better team and looks hungrier and better than ever.

Not surprised he shot up to +1000… And if he beats the Bengals will probably be about +500…

All about projecting going forward… Not what’s already happened imo

Lamar will be well above 500 by the time MVP voting comes around barring injury
of course.

Josh Allen was 3-0, but faced three of the weakest teams in the NFL: the cardinals, jags, and dolphins who lost tua that game. Once he faced a decent team they got crushed and exposed.

Mahomes is undefeated, but hasn’t looked Mahomes like and just lost his best receiver going forward… We will have to wait another three months to see how plays out but I think Lamar has as good shot as anyone to win and take over the next 3 months

Come on don't be salty, don't get your panties in a bunch. I pointed out the good and I pointed out the bad. Baker got outplayed by a rookie QB on the road getting his first win in Baker's stadium. That could alone kill his MVP fantasy. SHHHHH- (if you want the cold hard truth)
