FYI for those who didn’t complete TA1 some of the ways you can earn points have gone up. For example for online play with division players the points have gone from 10 to 20

I've got him at IV only couple hundred from super and he was a 98 with inside edge yesterday

I think the layouts are much easier then normal. Knocked out the central in less then 2 hours.

There's a ton of baller packs between the strongholds and ta2 paths. I wrote down on paper all the player missions and crossed them off as I finished

Hoping for a lefty reliever and OF with good splits vs RH for next bosses. Using Bichette, Torre, and Huff from the new cards but Torre has 3 DP after Buxton singles in 5 games and Bichette I'd platoon batting him vs LH if there's a new card to use

New pack tomorrow with some cheap awards and prime cards is perfect for Rivera

Finished all the TA2 divisions, did 1 showdown for the last few pts instead of more plate appearances otherwise just conquest and missions

New 95 Dibble and Baines sig coming in the pack tomorrow. Bullpen will be set for a while with Smith Gossage Dibble Rivera

I'm nowhere near done but put quite a piece of time into TA2. Not an awful grind and really a lot more payout per hr than you got in TA1 (after you picked up your top 42 targets).

94 Ernie Banks lasted less than 2 weeks in my starting lineup. Replaced by Groshans and Mauricio. Needed a non-righty for some balance and Mauricio pretty nice ratings and swing seems pretty good so far. Not great speed but def faster than Ernie. Groshans' swing seems to be great thus far. Nice and quick but not too quick.

Speaking of swings, I've got 96 Dante starting in RF at the moment. His swing kind of reminds me of Stanton's so far but I'm at least hitting with him offline. He may not last long if I can't reach up-and-in online, like is the case with a lot of closed-stance guys. Also, his D is quite bad. At least he's got 70 speed but 58 reaction in right is tough...

My SP rotation is now too stacked to deal with

With 93 Burns, 93 deGrom, 93 McClanahan, and 92 Balazovic on the bench. Will likely be replacing the FS guy I do worst with with deGrom. With parallels+IE, he's too good most days to not be in the rotation.

The TA2 FS pitchers are kind of frustrating. So many with just basic pitch rep (4SFB, SL, CH, CV). I mean, you can def do well with just those basic 4, but it would be a lot more fun if they gave more variety. At least Croschet has outlier and Cabrera has a sinker...

Not as much time to play this year as I did last year, but I've been slowly grinding things out. Have 2 of the divisions at 100% for TA1, and with most of the missions being doubled now that TA2 is out I should be able to finish up the rest pretty quickly. Haven't had as strong of pack luck this year and with being NMS I'm still on the collection grind. Hadn't pulled any of the top selling guys until Sunday when I pulled Betts, so I went ahead and bought Bellinger to complete the NL West. Currently sitting around 50K stubs and still need the other big guys (Trout, Cole, deGrom, Acuna).

Would like to get him soon myself but looks like he will be months away for me at best. I have built up a 470k stub reserve but planning on spending that to get closer to the AL at some point soon

I know most play ranked seasons, but if looking to grind team affinty Conquest is the way to go imo

I know i know its boring and games against CPU, but you load up a team and run through the US map twice, you are basically done. Plus if you have prospect collection done, they are all selling in the 7.5-8.5k range. Pick up upwards of 45k stubs plus 10 base packs.

Grabbed a kitchen sink pack got rare and took Dibble and ran lol

Been away for a little this past weekend but really dove into the Friday update yesterday and today.

Insane update, TA stage 2 has been a HR so far. I love that they did a mix of card styles. Not every team has a quality FS for stage 2, and some teams don’t have a quality legend to put there because it’s needed for a later on plan.

Currently for about 10 more games in totality to finish all 3 conquest maps for TA stage 2. Along with missions, a small exchange and collections, I’ll be at 63 points for every division for stage 2. So 1 pack for each division of the main stage 2 guys. Current plan is to grab

Balazovic (AL Central)
Oswalt (AL West)
Cliff Lee (NL East) or Jackson Rutledge
Prior (NL Central)
Bichette (NL West)

Really revamping the rotation mainly the first go through. I have Burnes and then a handful of 42 series guys and just wanna improve upon them

Completed TA2 over the long weekend. Didn’t want to mess with showdown so I did the exchanges and collection, along with all three conquests and used the players for the missions. Then I played 1 game on rookie against the Rockies to get the final few player missions I needed done.

Sitting at 33-2 this year in Ranked with an 845 rating currently.

Also switched to pinpoint over the weekend and man I didn’t know what I was missing.

Finished the Mo collection so just threw him in the bullpen but haven’t used him yet.

I did buy Pedro and used him 1 game. He’s awesome and I only sold him because he should continue to come down in price and I plan to buy him back. His 99 is going to be absolutely disgusting.

Leiter, Lee, and Maddux all made their 1st starts for me as well last night. All were dominant.

I’m also really enjoying Puason. Not much pop but he’s great out of the lead off spot and has a sweet swing.

Can’t wait for the 3rd Inning program on Friday. Wouldn’t mind a new catcher to replace Posada as he’s definitely the least productive bat on my team.

What are y’all’s predictions for the 3rd inning bosses?

I opened two of the kitchen sink packs, both were rare packs. Picked Dibble and Verlander.

I’m grinding out team affinity 2 and almost done with 1.

Can’t believe I never did diamond dynasty before.

Opponent wasn't any good but threw 21 K CG with Cabrera, HR with one out left only run

Finished all the conquests, had a nice big pack rip

45 show packs, 66 TA packs, 15 BIAH and a couple headliners

Pulled 3 diamonds, Matt Olson and 2 Hendriks. So not great on the diamond front

Was able to get some exchanges done, and now I’m sitting around 80-88 points for all 6 TA stage 2 divisions. Knocking out some player challenges will get me a few more of the big diamonds.

Not going to be able to get Rivera anytime soon. Signature guys too tough right now (unless I can pull trout) and then the extra 42 series guys I need from those packs aren’t cheap enough yet. Hoping we see one of those packs in the third inning conquest here soon

Ended the night pretty good.

Finished NL East aff 1 and 2, busted 15 base packs 38 team aff packs 9 BIAH packs 5 s12 Headliners and 2n kitchen sink.

Pulled lot of golds, diamond equipment, 3 meh diamonds- Harper, Burnes, Realmuto, but also pulled a sellable Degrom and rare again in kitchen sink.

Took Dunn for collection purposes, sold Degrom to pick up last 2 42 and get Jackie and sitting at 60k stubs.

Gonna continue to grind out in Conquest, open all packs and hopefully fill in most rest of teams for Live collections.
