I'm not down on the checklist for a $55/box product...I was just commenting that I don't see what content is going to drive it into the $100-150/box price range (which some people are already paying on EBay).

I would really have liked to see 20-25 top tier HOFers scattered throughout the base card checklist (like Topps does with Museum, Tribute, Stadium Club, Archives, Ginter, etc.), and I would have liked to see some better names in the 93 auto checklist (i.e. guys like Griffey, Ryan, Ripken, Will Clark, etc.).

I think Topps could have done much more with this idea and priced it a little higher (i.e. $70-80/box).

Why is this different? I think there is a nostalgia aspect that many other products don’t have. Many of us remember the 1993 iteration. Tough finding those key refractors. There isn’t a ton of this stuff and there is a scramble for it. My guess is it hold value. But then again I could be wrong. I’ve been wrong a lot.
