Schwarbomb #45 and 5 RBIs to give him 109.
|
The beat goes on.
To 600! |
Seeing this thread just sent me down a small rabbit hold on career WAR. Schwarber at age 32 has almost the same (about 1.5 higher) career WAR as Julio Rodriguez at age 24. Interpret that as you like.
|
I sure would love for Schwarbs to come back to the Cubs next year. I'm sure he will stay in Philly, but I would love for the Cubs to finally correct their mistake of letting him go. He will be a lot cheaper than Tucker and won't command as many years. Seiya can go back to the outfield even though he gives me heart attacks sometimes.

Schwarber showed who was better the past three days too. |
Finally got the flip corrected on this one...

The anti-Schwarber BO police in gif format. |
3 dingers so far tonight....will he be the 2nd player this season to get 4 in a single game?
|
Make it 4!!!
|
Induct him now
|
4 dingers tonite
|
Boom!
|
More years between him and Schmidt than between Schmidt and Klein. Interesting.
ETA: the three Phillies with 4 HR games |
Just hang the plaque already.

Jeez I guess that's one way to end a slump.
|
What’s the non steroid NL record ?
|
Position players coming in for the Braves might mean another AB

Thank you for the correction! Ed Delahanty was an OG Phillie and hall of famer in his own right. I’m seeing a trend here. Did you know Nixon had to lobby to get Chuck Klein into the HOF? |
Kyle “Kurtz” Schreiber!

59. Mike Stanton in 2017. |

That’s right, isn’t it? When did the true testing start? Ohtani is #2 at 54 in my mind, as much as I’d like to assume Ryan Howard was clean. Hack Wilson was drinking horse urine and eating gorilla prostates like everyone else from that era. So he can’t be trusted. |
