Oh for sure. But hopefully the factory sets sit around more than the wax. I still see some 2018 sets in a few stores. I need to check if those are worth picking up at MSRP. I'm sure they are.

I think someone mentioned this before, but most of the series 2 i have , have a rough left edge running down the entire side? Are others seeing this as well?

I've been buying singles, so i don't have the SKUs these came from.

# 392 Walgreens Yellow
 

So I sent several of my new LouBobs into PSA a few weeks back. I received the update Friday afternoon that my Walgreens Yellow 392 will not be graded ?? Super confused so I emailed customer service and I must say I’m impressed they responded to my email on a Sunday so credit there. But he said since the yellow variation of this card doesn’t appear on any checklists that it would not be graded. I own a Bo Bichette Series 1 Yellow that PSA graded. Surely they cannot return every first card they receive of any set right ? I guess their justified but I’m a bit disappointed as I thought this card would look sharp in a PSA case plus looked to be a surefire Gem. Oh well

I have only had that happen to non-liscensed oddballs like TCSP. This doesn’t make sense its because its an ssp which is exactly how the label should read.

I would agree with this. At 22, he's young and has shown he may be the
real deal. I think cards like the 2020 opening day are going to jump up too
especially given how tough they are and even when pulled are condition
sensitive.

I am trying to figure out if I should list my 2018 Mega and Atomic refractor base cards or send them in for grading. The only thing holding me back on the grading is they will come back after the season is over. Which at this point if they grade high it could be a nice reward

I would disagree with this. Out of sight, out of mind. Prices generally fall in the off season. Soto US300 and Acuna US250 were both down about 20% last December... and then took off starting in February.

It's certainly crazy times now, so who knows... but most cards take a little hit in the off season.
