It's all making sense now, three autos per hobby to dump stickers before these products, and a change to likely on-card for Chrome next year. If these sets are already leaked it makes even more sense hobby is dropping so quick because it'll get even worse with an on-card set. It also makes sense now Sapphire was sticker, not just to dump but also not compete with their own product when Graphite comes out.

I'd be surprised if Carlos doesn't get his own dedicated set eventually too with mems/on-card autos etc.

Is Topps going in the archives? In UFC they are bringing back the Knockout brand and I don't follow baseball products a ton but personally I don't know Graphite or Royalty brands unless they are new.

I believe Graphite is entirely new and Royalty will emulate one of their pre-existing higher end products.

I was price enforcing on Aryna Sabalenka break spots, meaning I was thinking "there's no way it goes for less than X"

Well, I ended up getting her for $38 bucks for a full case break of sapphire. My max bid was in at $40, to give you an idea. I must've lost 5-10 same/similar auctions before I fell into this one.

It worked out well.

Not really. The Graphite will be a mix of on-card and stickers supposedly. Either released later this year or early next year. Not sure ab royalty beyond relics - racket cap was mentioned.

Holy cow, I didn’t realize how badly I overpaid today until coming back to this thread. Was bored so I picked up 2 hobby boxes at the lcs. I knew I was overpaying (paid $179 each), but I didn’t know prices had dropped that far. Glad it worked out.

Psa put my alcaraz purple auto on HOLD pending verification with Topps. Im pretty sure the published checklist is all there and I dont understand what there is to verify if one of the sapphire oranges has already been graded and listed by psa vault. Annoying that i had to pay super express and have been waiting almost 5 weeks already.

As for other products. Yeah this new revival of tennis has put a halt to my selling my tennis collection and reinvigorated collecting. The Graphite auto card design above looked a bit busy but maybe I'm just not used it. Plus I'm more of a Carbon Fiber guy :P

Qinwen Zheng seems like the gem of this, she didn't get put in the harder tier of autos due to not being as big when this was produced, is outselling her other non-superstar peers like Mirra and Emma Navarro and her /5 red refractor auto is at $1363 which is pretty good given the top if not second male auto Novak /25 $1802. Big difference in numbering but it would be like comparing anyone not named Caitlin Clark /5 like Aja Wilson vs a Wemby /25, it's pretty good all considering.

If anyone rips a blaster case please post results, if hobby dropped this far I imagine these are gonna be dirt cheap eventually, think that will end up being my play as I don't really want to spend on a hobby case even at these prices. Haven't been able to really find any full-case rips (probably arent any lol) and I won't be buying if it's like one base mid-tier auto and one /499 per case.

Bought 1 hobby case near current prices and ripped. It was fun, but buying into breaks makes more sense for me personally since I'm not chasing djoker or alcaraz. Now that we know superior products are in the pipeline, it's harder to justify costs. If it was the only product with 2024 before it, I would buy more.

Was interested ab the retail cases too bc of $, and there are probably a few hidden supers, but the odds for anything cool are awful

I have a $100 off coupon from a competitor site.

I was thinking to buy 2 boxes of 2024 TC Tennis hobby for ~$114 shipped (with the coupon), then I told myself, it'll probably be cheaper during BF and held off LOL.

But yeah, I was one of those individuals who said I'd buy at $100 per....but now that we're there, and how fast we got there and how readily available the product still is, we certainly have more room to drop.

But damn, I knew this product was overpriced from the start, I just didn't know how overpriced it actually was.

Is $60 per a possibility? Could be.
