I like blasters. Then hangers. Fat packs are great for base cards. But short prints are fewer.

I know there isn't any actions or golds in retail but I do believe most everything else is?

The options are all the same cost

Two Blaster Cases?
1 Hanger Case?
1 Fat Pack Case?

It's retail, very minimal hits with any option....I'd go with Blasters if I had the choice.

Not every product has to be ordered and not every product is allocated.

And yes distributors also hold a bunch. Distributors also help back and have deals with breakers. They didn't pop up overnight, it takes tremendous capital in the millions to be breaking at the bigger levels. The average guy wanting Heritage cases doesn't spend even $100k a year.
There are products coming out left and right and from many companies.

I know for 2019 Heritage regular, almost 1,000 cases were ordered from 1 distributor...that would have been like 25% of production, at 1 distributor. That is HUGE demand. They didn't let all those orders go thru and they limited/cut some people, and ultimately I believe Topps gave them around 900 cases or so.
There are so many people, breakers, shops, online dealers, ebay box/case sellers, etc that want to order product even at 1-2-5-10 cases. I order 50 and I'm an individual. It adds up. And again, distributors hold back some. And a lot of deals happen on dealernet everyday that aren't public. 4000 cases of Heritage Low # ?.....that doesn't sound like a lot...just seems like they made a lot more, at least after initial release.

Brent is right, you have to buy a lot product to get the allocated stuff. I am in for 65 cases of Topps Series 1,2 and Update. I still got cut pretty good on Heritage High. I do buy the other products to.

We are just talking [U]hobby[/U].
This year was the largest amount ever produced for Heritage low series at approx. 5,200 cases. 2018 was around 4,400 cases.
(So I should have said it was more like 20% of production but the orders were in excess of 1,000.)

Heritage High this year looks to be around 3,300 hobby cases.

Got 40 cases of retail so I would hope, haha...not sure about the right guys...at least on autos...no big names.
I have only opened 19 cases so far though.
Hit 3 throwbacks in those though, and they are 1 every 35 retail cases...the first 2 cases each had 1.

That is awesome to hit 3 Throwbacks. I have went breaking 7-10 cases without hitting one in Hobby cases before. They are Tough!!

(2) Is this a "break all the retail you can on release day" kind of product, or not?

Got the surprise call today that I will be only getting 1 case from my main distributor.. For the last few weeks I was told I was getting 5 cases, now just 1... How am I supposed to run my business like this?
