Club XS at the Wynn was pretty awesome when I went. Rehab too.
|
Quick question. How much is it to get into the clubs? and do the charge you to go into bars too?
|

It varies, some are free or $5, some are up to $20 or $40 for the super high end ones on primo nights. Bars...no. |

I think for 12 of us at XS with bottle service it was around $350 each. |

Bars...no.
Okay cool, not bad. I'll probably stick to $5-20 clubs. lol Really, surprised bars are free since some of them here in LA charge $5-10 to get in. |

So if Bar A charged a cover and Bar B doesn't where are drunk college kids going to go? Of course there ARE bars that do charge, but not most. And usually only if there is a band. The vast majority of bars are free. Heck, Margaritaville sells a liter of fruit juice and some rum for $65 in a big stupid glass. If they tried to charge a cover.... |
Into the club scene? Check out Haze nightclub, Moon nightclub, or Hakkasan nightclub.
Last few times I've been we did a party bus which was about $75 a person, you start at 1 nightclub and a party bus will take you around town to 3/4 clubs that night. Pretty fun if it's you're first time. Also off roading is pretty fun if you're trying to find something to do other than gambling. For a strip club go to sapphire or spearmint rhino, trust me :)!
That's the strip club I was talking about in my previous post. |

Haze night club at the Aria was pretty cool. I'm not big into clubs but J. Cole was performing while we were there. My wife and I got on the VIP list by stopping at the booth during the day. He did ask before he put our names on the list if we had the right ratio. So if you are going with all dudes I doubt you'll get put on the list.
I'm not sure but I think the cover was normally $30. I didn't see where you are staying but since you have a mini fridge I would suggest stopping at Walgreens or the Grand Canyon Experience store near MGM for "cheaper" booze. Pre game in the hotel to get your buzz on. Fat Tuesdays actually had a pretty decent deal. I bought the 32 oz mug for $15 then refills are $11. Kind of feel like a woman drinking the fruity slush drinks but a few of those will get you feeling good. Also I would suggest going to Freemont St one night. Nothing but a huge party down there at night. |
I went earlier in the month and had a blast. I can't help you with the drinking part or club part because I am female and don't drink, but can still offer some advice. When you gamble, make sure you sign up for their cards. MLife and Total Rewards are the most popular cards. Penny slots are fun. 30 cents at a time wont kill ya. Get your drinks while gambling because all you need to do is tip the server a buck or two. Try out the $5 electronic blackjacks, those are fun and I did pretty good at them and you can play for awhile. If you are thinking about traveling the strip, go to the Deuce/Express. An all day pass is $8 and it goes to Fremont Street. Fremont Street is very interesting. There are some things you can't unsee there but if you haven't been there it is kind of cool just to see it. Also you can find some great deals on food or a lot of other stuff on groupon/living social/travelzoo. Serendipity was fun but it is expensive. They have huge portions. Hash House A Go Go is pretty cool. Food is humongous and reasonably priced at The Quad. Check out The Linq, the new district by The Quad. Seemed to be a party scene there. There is just so much stuff to do in Vegas. Have fun!

i have had great results with plastic wrap . |
the $100 budget for gambling won't last long at all
tables on strip will have $10 minimum per hand/per roll/and so on at night $.25 slot machine will eat that up after you realize you are really playing $.75-$2.25 per spin when you play all the combinations if you sit at a cheap machine and think you'll get drink after drink by waitress for free, they ain't happening either plus, sports book cashiers will give you free drink ticket for every $20 bet you make years ago you could sit in sportsbook and watch games and drink for free but they now are sticklers (understandably) and want you to have drink tickets...same could be said about old days of hanging out by penny slots and think waitresses will be rushing over to bring you a cocktail sign up for the player's cards at the casinos if on a short budget and maybe you can get a free buffett or admission into that casino's club with your initial sign-up there are some afternoon poker tourneys that are reasonable $60-100 entry and they can stretch out an afternoon if you don't want to put fifty $20 bills into a slot machine $10-20 parlays using 3 or 4 teams in baseball (or hockey or NBA) can be a cheap way to bet yet still having a betting interest (parlay means you must win all the games but then the payouts are more than betting each game individually....good route to go for those with small bankroll) collect as many "business cards" and literature from people wearing neon shirts and holding backpacks on the strip at night and use them as cheap wallpaper at home Pawn Stars shop is on way to Freemont but it's very small --ok to check it out if fan of show but not missing much if you never go downtown is nasty but cheaper Most places on the strip are fun I actually have fun time in the bar area outside harrahs (DJ/Host do a good show) but they may have remodeled it since the Quad place opened next door to it there's a shuttle that goes between Rio and Harrahs use your player's card many of the casinos use the same card (ballys, Caesars, harrahs, PH, Flamingo are the same) Others use the M card good luck |
Not sure if being sarcastic but GoPros are cameras lol
I am employed, and trust me. People have been fired over social media stuff at this "company". Lets just say, they are very PG. What is the jump? I have actually been wanting to go sky-diving, and found a place near my house for $200.
Totally serious....I've never heard of "GoPro." The jump I was referring to is just that...a jump off of the top of the Stratosphere. My favorite part is going to the top of the Stratosphere and watching the people as they are jumping. |

Whatever you do, don't stay at the Quad. That place is the biggest dump ever. That's where we stayed back in October. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. |
don't be cheap. it's vegas, go live a little.
|
Went to XS night club at Encore for my 21st and had a great time! Cover was $50 I believe but it also depends on who is DJing. Would also recommend Tao Beach Club during the day..... Especially if you're single :D haha have fun man

FYI for those that don't know about The Quad it's where the old Imperial Palace was right next to Harrahs IP was the cheapest option for those with Total Rewards card Even though most just use hotel room for its bed, crapper, and shower I think it's better off spending extra $20-30 and not staying there |

I'll add to this: Do NOT stay at the Excalibur either. That place was an absolute DIVE. |
Yeah I didn't stay at the quad although the casino part was nice. I stayed at the MGM Grand. Also stay far away from Circus Circus

1. Doesn't gamble much.
2. Going to cook own food to save money. 3. Going to "pre-drink" in room. I'd suggest staying home. joking....but not joking. Gambling and Eating are two of the biggest reasons to go to Vegas. |
Hit up Club Haze and Moon those are the two I enjoyed the most but drinks are expensive my buddies CC got declined so I ended paying $95 for 5 shots of patron at Haze and club moon is $10 a beer. I go to the California Hotel right off Fremont St. they have single deck black jack for $5 and it's not crowded at all so the drink girl comes every 10 min to give you a new free beer so thats how I budget my alcohol and gambling addiction without breaking the bank then hit the clubs without needing to buy to many of the ridiculous priced drinks.

I also like to take a couple of walking drinks, or fill up the Fat Tuesday cups. I may or may not have a drinking problem. No matter what you're into, go out and don't be afraid to talk to people. Not just the group of hot girls you're trying to hook up with, talk to who ever looks like they're having a good time. Some of my best memories in Vegas are when I partied with strangers. |
