Yu-Gi-Oh cards almost never get BGS 10 (especially older cards), but I saw someone who has so many BGS 10s including black labels... it's incredibly fishy as someone who has graded many times with them.

There was a scandal regarding some graders and black label, I have no idea why people still paying premium for the black label, pretty subjective to me

Same with PSA 10 over 9. The multiples make no sense compared to card quality.

I tried to branch out into PSA while buying baseball. Bgs slabs are by far the best still. Not defending the company. But I like the slabs.

I'm just bumping this to see if anyone has had any success getting through to Beckett Authentication Services lately. I submitted a Babe Ruth postcard in-person at a show in May, and it was marked received on the BAS website on 6/4.

On 6/13, they charged me and mailed it back to me with a generic rejection letter. I reached out to Mike Haburay, who had taken my order at the card show. He told me that the item had been rejected in error and sent a FedEx return label.

Someone at Beckett signed for the package on 7/3, but there has been no other confirmation that they received it. My BAS order status hasn't been updated since 6/13 and still shows that the order was paid for and is a "generic rejection." Beckett customer service isn't responding to inquiries sent through the website or by e-mail.

Has anyone else had better luck? I suppose it's possible that the the Ruth will just show up someday, but the lack of communication is weird.
