I’m considering private equity investments as a diversification option. Typically, these investments are in emerging or already established businesses that need financing to grow or restructure. However, I’m aware of the complexities and risks involved, such as the longer timeline for returns and the need for a rigorous selection of opportunities.

It also carries significant financial and legal risks. That’s why I’m thinking of consulting specialists in the field, to better understand the process and successfully navigate these investments.
I had maxed my ESPP to 20%
401k at 3% with 100% match at Fidelity
Rollover IRA at Fidelity
ROTH at Fidelity
HSA at Fidelity
Individual account at Schwab....and Fidelity.

In December, I looked at my company's reports from multiple research outfits at F and Schwab, and every single one said Outlook < market for not one but next 2 years. I relayed this to co-workers, dropped my ESPP, and sold the shares I had vested, but upped my 401k to 6%. Stock has since slid 15% and no upwards movement.

I'm paying off debt, moving what's left to other cards with 0% for 12 mo incentives.

Culled my collection last year for chaff and sold that. As the election was approaching, and with some family/medical issues raised, I cut deep into the collection to have cash on hand just in case.

Solo 401k max
Self employed profit sharing plan maxed to my income level
Roth IRA max
With maxing all of the above not much left over to save.

For most of my retirement accounts I have just been maxing out index funds.
I wanted to simplify and hopefully it all works out.

Just invested way too much into various Real Estate projects with my company

Not really “way too much” but still stresses me out after stroking the checks

1 work retirement account
1 rollover retirement account
multiple investment accounts
3 kids 529 plans (1 graduated, 1 in college, 1 will be in college soon, just letting it grow and stopped funding it)

Everything is in mutual funds...about 70% in S&P Index funds just go with the flow of the market, the other 30% is in a handful of other mutual funds

Personally I use mutual funds because I figure there is a fund manager looking over everything, so I don't need to. I do not use a financial advisor as I am undecided if they are worth the 1-2% of my portfolio..

Have done decently well for a guy who had no clue and had to read/google most of this stuff on his own...
