will these ever get below $100 w/shipping ? $89.99 + S/H seems fair IMO
|
If you live in Central FL area or maybe even just FL in general, Walgreens (who will have flagship series hangers for $9.99)...also now have the Heritage hangers for $9.99 as well. So basically $3 less than walmart/target/barnes
just fyi |

I get the impression that the megas are superior to hobby this year on a cost basis. If the megas get down to $35 at any point, which seems likely/probably based on past releases, it’s a no brainer with three megas at 17 packs each costing the same or less than one hobby. More than twice the number of packs for the same or less than a hobby box. |
Hello! Sorry if this has been answered but do we know the print run for chrome and chrome refractors? I contacted Topps to ask and the employee told me “they didn’t release that publicly” but to check the odds sheet. I saw Chasing Majors estimated /699 for chrome and /225 for refractors but is that the current estimate or does anyone have a different figure?

I don't see how its possible. Theres no 1/1 from retail only that will tell us how much retail is printed I dont believe. |

Thanks I guess that’s just so wild to me that they won’t provide a figure on it. Honestly it hurts the product IMO for the younger generation especially. I do the occasional donation and kids like seeing the serial number even if it’s /9999 lol. And me personally I just want to know to have an idea for rarity. I understand they’re trying to normalize the products but it seems that a heritage refractor is significantly lower in print than say a Topps chrome refractor. But without disclosing anything why should anyone care much for an un-numbered and unknown print run for a heritage refractor…just kinda a shame |

Some things are better left a mystery. |

Haha it’s all fun and games until they go up on eBay labeled as SPs and people pay up because they don’t have the information to know whether that’s true or false. |
I know, and completely understand. Honestly. But nobody really wants to see numbered base cards or cards numbered to 8,767

The megas were a no brainer at $50 and have been going up in price. $35 won't happen because I would spend every dime to my name if they even dropped to $45. Really good SKU this year and people seem to be aware of that. |

I seen them at 2 different shops this past weekend at $50. |

$48.88 with free shipping at Walmart.com right now. |

100% truth here. Did a mega case and was very pleasantly surprised. If they dropped to $700 a case I'd buy 5-6 of them and build the red/chrome/silver sparkle sets...in addition to getting all 200 inserts. |

3rd party seller with terrible reviews and limited quantity. You can still get them at Target for $50 but also limited quantity and sales tax. |
Has anyone opened a 40 box blaster case?....Thoughts?

Oh I agree with that but if we’re talking the chrome refractors we’re likely in the /250 range (assuming remotely consistent with years prior) which is a very reasonable number IMO. I guess I’m just salty with all the changes made this year either way heritage that took away some character. I pulled a chrome /999 Elly rookie which was going for good money but I honestly don’t know if it would have as much value without knowing a finite number. Now you pull a chrome or refractor and it’s like umm I think this is decent? lol just miss the way heritage was a bit I guess |
The 1/1 Trout dual relic that I pulled is at PSA. I am just having them authenticate it. I’m doing that because it was hard to get it to stay in a case. It’s interesting bc only thing that tells you it’s a 1/1 is the handwritten number on it. No color variation. Even the checklist doesn’t call it any different color. I assume PSA will just call it 1/1?

Yes. Totally agree. |
Does anyone know a way to tell the difference from the outside box whether a blaster or hanger is an EA versus an SE? Is this just a distinction between Walmart, Target, and other retailers?
I ask because I noticed that the odds for Burgundy Sparkle definitely bears our my experience that the Walgreen's hangers seem to have a lot fewer of the Burgundy Sparkle, which makes me think that retailer has the EA odds. SE has 1:1 but EA has 1:2. This makes me reluctant to buy hangers without knowing which one I'm getting. I'm coming to the conclusion that Mega boxes are the way to go. It's pretty clear the best price per card/price per pack unless hobby comes down to $70 per box, which I don't think we'll see. They are almost on par with Hobby for the chance to pull an auto for roughly the same money spent. You should get I auto in 9 Mega boxes ($450) versus 1 auto in 5 Hobby Boxes. That doesn't account for the added odds of pulling non-base autos (etc.), which is probably better in Hobby. I am way ahead on my luck. I've bought about 10 fat packs and got a Dave Winfield Real One Auto (1:325) and I got a Tatis reilc (1:83). Both not-numbered. I do worry about the damage risk with fat packs but so far I haven't seen much. The thicker plastic packaging does a fair job it seems. EDIT: Doing some looking, it seems that SE means hangers and blasters that come direct from Topps and EA would be any (??) that get shipped to distributors for retail sale. That would meant that any retail in the wild (Walmart, Target, Walgreens, MJ Holdings, etc) would be EA. Has this been verified? |
Positive for Nandrolone

When I was finally finalizing my 2023 cards in late 2024, I noticed a card that gave me hope for 2025 Heritage:
Alas, it seems Taijuan cut his hair between whenever in 2022 and any point in 2024 and there would be no Oscar Gamble homage card... or was there? Any chance? Ditto for the Kurt Bevacqua card though I'd guess no one has run a new bubble gum blowing contest anyway. |
First chink in the armor maybe, saw a major wax retailer( not big 3) has hobby for $99 this weekend.
|
Cases still available on Topps.com. In fact that moved it to the primary position on their front page slide show. Trying to move the last few cases I reckon.
|
Mega/Monster boxes were the clear win for 2025. Hopefully single hobby boxes and Jumbos get discounted by the fall or at least Black Friday like 2022 Heritage High Number was before Witt Jr went crazy last year.
|
how are people not still buying retail of this stuff ? Pulled the Orange /25 Hank Aaron from a monster box a few weeks back then picked up 3 fat packs today pulled an Aqua Chrome Soto, James Wood Cartoon Variation and to top it off a Steve Carlton Auto Relic /25. The Woods and Carlton were both in the same pack to boot.
