You’ve had the same shtick for like 10 years. It’s legit impressive
He has a hard on for lebron and he’s playing hard to get |
I’d consider myself an impartial 3rd party in the LeBron debate - I love so much of what he’s done on the court for most of his career, and I’ve had so much fun watching him play the last 18 seasons, but I can’t stand how he exaggerates contact and whines after every call, and I don’t like much of what he does off the court, outside of some of his charity work. Having said that, the Bron haters are 100x more annoying than the fanboys. At least the LeBron defenders are trying to be positive and just stick up for their favorite player, even if some of their arguments are blown out of proportion. The haters are insufferable with their criticisms. Just look at the reaction to Wednesday night’s game - LeBron hits a monster clutch shot and he’s “lucky.” And if he missed the shot, they would have all been using that miss to say he’s not “clutch.” The haters win either way! It’s fine to be critical, but to twist every accomplishment and make it seem like he’s a loser is just ridiculous.
I think it underscores in many years so many things have to go right for a title run.
2015 Cavs would have had a chance with Kyrie and Love. 2016 Warriors would have had an ever better chance if the things above didn't happen 2019 Raptors had Klay and KD go down, and the bounce from Kawhi over Philly. But that's life and the game of basketball.
100% agreed. The best team doesn't always win the championship (examples above). Hell, the best healthy team (on paper) might not always win the championship either, although they probably usually do. At the end of the day, a championship is a championship. Some title runs might be more impressive than others but each are incredible accomplishments. |

Fair points. I’ve been a fan since the chosen one cover and his on court antics have begun to bug me more and more over the years. Like why cheapen your all time greatness with unnecessary flops and embellishments of injuries. My bias generally makes me give him a pass because I’m always rooting for the call to go his way. Like last night I wanted that flagrant. In the 2016 finals I legit thought he broke his wrist for about 5 seconds after that draymond contest. How can you look that hurt then just get up and nothing be wrong? Yet in the moment I was just glad he was good to go. The clutch / luck thing is mostly moot to me. Some bits of both for any player in that situation the other night. Nobody in the league hits that shot at a 50% plus clip so in a way anyone could be considered lucky when it goes in. |
Some massive storylines starting tomorrow.
The Goldenboy Luka might have to wait another year to win a series. Orrrr they roll the Clips and it's another year of the curse. Can Denver survive round 1 in a tough match up vs a killer in Dame. Was that game vs GS the tight contest LAL needed to kick them in to gear. Bron typically loses game 1 so I think Phoenix will start well but be worn down and figured out quickly. The Lakers seem to defend the 3 ball well so I think they'll be fine there. Last years Finalists MIA might get bounced or can they crush Giannis' dreams? If MIL get through MIA, BKN, PHI that would be very impressive. Will BKN choke? I have no idea how they're the favorite. No team has been thrown together and won a title bar the 08 Celtics, but that team just clicked. I don't think they'll make the Finals but the League could give them special treatment to get a BKN vs LAL ratings dream. Hope we get a good game tonight. But tomorrow will be better. |

Philly vs Washington should be lopsided... but at least we get to see the Westbrook/Embiid beef play out. If Memphis gets through tonight, them vs the Jazz would probably not be much of a story line. Other than that though, I'm pretty excited to follow each series. |

GS vs Utah would be ok too. But yeah, some big match ups out West and MIA vs MIL. Obviously ATL or NY have to go home. I think NY will be. Dame or Jokic going fishing. I kinda hope Luka loses so we see his prices stay low because I still have my eyes on a few. But I will be more than happy to see Kawhi lose early. Never4get :p |

griz fast start

Refs trying their best to keep the Warriors in it.
|
This is the most aggressive I’ve seen Morant in quite some time.
|
wow that putback slam
|
wow that putback slam
That was ridiculous. Caught it with his forearm. |
Damn, so many TOs already.

both griz big men get 3 fouls mid thru 2nd hehe. |
Looks like GS used all there energy for the Lakers game. They all like flat. Going to need a big second half it looks like
|
I despise when they steal the ball, there's no one at around and they shoot the 3. That was a 5 point swing on that shot.
|
Not going to lie, with how poorly Curry has been shooting the ball, I'm surprised it's only an 8-point game.
|
I'd be shocked if the NBA let's memphis win this.. Almost all memphis starters in foul trouble.
|
Man, Dubs commit some of the worst TOs lol
|
Wow. How many turnovers has Curry had tonight?
|
wtf are warriors doing
