Great De'Andre Hunter news - didn't need a second PRP injection so could potentially be back by the end of March
https://twitter.com/sarah_k_spence/status/1367943370153279492?s=20 Good news as well on Kris Dunn who should be back by the end of March as well https://twitter.com/sarah_k_spence/status/1367847857668100105?s=20 I don't think this makes the Hawks a competitor, they aren't going to be the 4th seed but they'll basically have everyone healthy for the final 27 games. |
Teams don’t dump Dunn because he’s good. It’s because he sucks.
Good news on Hunter, though. |
Who, Rondo and Dwight? Replaced by Schroder and Gasol and Harrell?
I will take 2019 Rondo/Howard/McGee over 2020 Schroeder/Gasol/BAWB. |

Rondo is playing some of his worst ball ever. |

In 2019-2020? |

So you’re actually saying they should have gotten better players to replace those three. Got it. Who should they have gone after instead? |

Who should they have gone after instead?
I said their supporting cast this year is not as good as last year. Then I said I would take 2019 Rondo/Howard/McGee over 2020 Schroeder/Gasol/BAWB. Why is that so hard to understand? |
Offensively yes
He sucks offensively I agree. Defensively he'll be a major plus for the Hawks.

Why is that so hard to understand?
It was hard to understand because you can’t take players from last year to play this year. So it’s a dumb argument. The Lakers knew those three were at the end of their usefulness so they reloaded with better players for this year, the year they’re competing in. |
Still looking for 19-20 Prizm at gas stations and drug stores.

I think last year's team is better than this year's team.
The Lakers are 5-6 against the top 8 in the West. They were 4-4 against the top 8 before he AD went down. I do not understand why people think this iteration of the Lakers is that great.
|

I'll make sure to use this response every time we have a discussion about past versus present players. Holy cow you guys are ridiculous. |

Haha... I’m just breaking your balls. You made sense a page ago. I fully agree. Dwight Howard is awesome btw. He embraces his role as an energy guy, rebounder, instigator, garbage bucket getter. He’s a perfect role player. I love him on the 76ers. |
Well, he is a doctor:

Something about LeBron going through the same thing every year and people being haters. I love the fact that whenever people say LeBron's team is not as good as last year's, people always point to completely unrelated scenarios like the first Heat season. When there have been other occasions where they've looked bad and it showed in the playoffs (like the Warriors sweep). The team is not as good as last year. It's clear. They are also the favorites because they still look like the best team when healthy. They are closer to the Heat's Finals team from last year than the Lakers' championship team. |
midway through the season, will golden state make the playoffs? sitting at 9th in the west currently.

Will be a huge accomplishment if they do. The rosters of the teams in front of them are so much better than theirs. They should be a bottom feeder this year. I think the only possible spot they could take is from the Spurs, especially if they decide to reset at the deadline by trading DDR and LMA. Otherwise, I don't see them getting in the top 8. Their goal should be to at least make the play-in game. |

nah, league changing curry, number one pick wiggins, number 2 pick wiseman, dpoy draymond, greatest coach/franchise in the league (things weve all heard over the years). they should be easily better then portland, dallas, and san antonio and probably phoenix if they ever come back down to earth. |

thanks for the debate :)! |

Debating you about the Warriors would be like debating me on lebron. Neither of us are changing our minds and we each hate one of them lol. We'll see how it plays out. Back to the ASG, does anyone else get more excited for the skills challenge and 3 point competition than the actual game, or am I alone in that? |
